Rated 5 out of 5 by Shane_in_Portland from Go-to hiking shoe that can replace most boots This is my second pair of Adidas Outdoor shoes. I first bought the Fast X GTX and it quickly became my favorite hiking/backpacking shoe of all time. Once those were shot I purchased these Swift R2 GTX and have been equally happy. Having just logged a lot of miles over two weeks of hiking in the Trinity Alps, Lassen and Yosemite, my feet still felt great after wearing these (with a heavy pack on) for the entire time. Unless there are heavy snow conditions, I will opt for wearing these shoes over putting on a heavier boot...awesome option for fast and light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Billy from Awesome shoe I've had these swift GTX R2 for a month now and I love them. I wear them everywhere. Black on black looks clean for formal wear. But these are all around awesome outdoor shoes. I mainly use them for disc golf and softball (turf and dirt). I think they're a little pricey for me but well worth the money. The grip is unmatched to other shoes on the market. They are also very comfortable right out of the box. I love the early pull tie laces. I'd rebuy these over and over. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michigan DGer from My go-to shoe for disc golf I bought a pair of the Swift R GTX two years ago and recently bought two pairs of the new Swift R2 GTX. I love these shoes for disc golf. They have excellent grip and are comfortable on my feet right out of the box. The waterproofing is a huge plus in wet conditions. Highly-recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alan71 from Fantastic shoe This is my 4th pair of this shoe. Yep I love this shoe. I don't exactly use this shoe for it's intended purpose but considering the work I do I feel they are simply the best shoe. I am a courier in Seattle WA. I walk a lot. If you are familiar with the current state of downtown Seattle then you know how rough the streets and sidewalks are. Everywhere I go either the streets or sidewalks are torn up from all the construction. Pretty much feels like I'm "hiking" with some of the steep hills here. Running shoes wear out too quickly and simply don't give the rigid support I need. I fell in love with the quick lace technology and they stay tight through the day with an occasional adjustment. My last pair lasted 2 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by forrest87127 from Disc golf I have wanted these shoes for some time now. They are so comfy on the tee box. They stay dry and are the best disc golf shoe, ever. If Adidas discontinues this shoe, I'll have to retire from frolf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chrisc from Great shoe, but not as great as the skychaser Recently purchased to replace some heavily used skychasers. This shoe is a bit heavier and sole is a bit stiffer (skychaser is a boost shoe, this one is not). Overall they feel like a solid shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Donovan from Best shoes for the buck..... I was looking for a cross between a dressy tennis shoe and a workable trainer because I have to wear black shoes with my scrubs since I am a clinical educator. I walk anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 steps a day, five days a week and have had these shoes for one year with absolutely no wear or tear. I’ve also never had sore feet at the end of the day. I did however put in a Tempur-pedic insole for extra comfort. I have since then purchased a second pair for outdoorsy activities with my family on a recent trip to Seattle.
