Rated 4 out of 5 by climberdave from Great Grip These shoes breathe well and grip anything with their Continental rubber. The sizing is suspect, though. I have a size 11 in every other Terrex running shoe and boot, but these fit like an 11.5 or 12 for me. The Speed is lightweight and well cushioned. Overall, another top-notch product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tristan B from Lightweight trail runners I love these shoes, they are so light. I wear them as my daily driver. They are great for trail running, road running, hiking backpacking ect. I hate wearing boots for backpacking trips unless I’m hiking through snow or death scree/talus so the lighter the shoe the better and these have been great for me even with big multiday loads. I love the ankle closure on it too, it feels like a neoprene sock and keeps dirt out. I’ve worn them whitewater kayaking and they grip well to wet rocks and dry out quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mplatte from Out of the box comfort I have a tendency to hate getting new shoes. Not because I don't like the look of fresh kicks, but because I have weird, temperamental feet that take a while to break in new shoes, and typically its a pretty painful experience. The Terrex Speed trail running shoes are an exception to what I thought was a rule of nature for me. Out of the box, these were super comfortable because the uppers flex around the wider parts of my foot, and the footbed offers just the right support to the heel, arch, and forefoot. I've gone running in them 5 times so far, and am so happy with my purchase, they hold up to road and trail running, and breathe well too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mlt2 from I love these shoes I'm about to order my third pair of these as they have become my go-to trail runner. The first thing you'll notice when you hit the trail is just how light and nimble they feel! You definitely can't blame the shoes for holding you back from setting any PRs. The supposed usual downsides of a minimal and lightweight build aren't there for me. The Continental outsole is maybe not as aggressive as some other models, but I've never had it grip any less than what I've come to expect from Adidas/Continental. The cutouts in the sole save weight I assume and probably add some flexibility, but I haven't had any issue with protection from the terrain. The midsole is lightweight foam and while not cloud-level cushy (or boost), it's proven adequate on long runs. I really dig the upper. It's light, breathable and minimal looking, but everything works. I really like the sock-like design and there's something kind of amazing about the lacing system. It looks simple enough but works in a way that you can really dial in where you want the shoe to lockdown and it stays that way. Having to pick one thing to complain about, I don't love the heal-cup and counter, it feels a tiny bit sloppy, but that sensation isn't there when you're actually running on the trail. To sum it up, while these were maybe designed as a shoe for racing, I've found them to work in nearly every circumstance and plan to really test the limit of mileage I can use them for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple Jack from Perfect Travel Shoe I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago and have loved them! They are light, pack small, and are perfect trail/running/walking shoe to take with you. I wore the originals out, and bought the newer model. I like the new sole pattern even better! One thing however, is the new ones run large. I have several pairs of adidas, including the last pair of these, and I’m always a men’s size 10. After trying a couple of sizes I ended up with a 9 1/2 in these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boulderstrong from Great running shoes! A very comfortable and light weight shoe that offers superb traction for the trails. The shoe fits about 1/2 size larger than other brands FYI. I normally wear a 10 and the 9.5 fits perfect! Thanks, ADIDAS for making a quality product at an affordable price. I will by this shoe again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Elliott from The shoe is good/decent for specific uses The shoe is good/decent. I found t hem a bit long and narrow compared with other Adidas shoes. I also have a high arch so the midsole was a tad more snug that I would have liked. Otherwise a comfortable and light shoe for walking and runs shorter than 4 miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jmstewart from Light weight versatile trail runner So glad I pulled the trigger on these! I have a wide foot and the fit is great, the stretchy uppers are like gloves for feet. Well constructed, durable, and capable on any off road terrain. Awesome product! Only drawback is the snails pace shipping and lack of better shipping options.
