Rated 5 out of 5 by Jtv7 from Great shoe for approaches and scrambling! I bought these for a trip to Utah. The stealth rubber on these shoes is definitely the stickiest you can get on a shoe like this. Sticks to sandstone with no problem, and I felt very comfortable on class 3-4 scrambles with these. These shoes are great to run in too. These may look similar to trail runners, but definitely have a stiffer sole like a hiking shoe. Definitely heavier than my trail runners as well. Please note that these shoes are Gore-tex, meaning they're decently waterproof, but not as breathable as a mesh running shoe. Since these aren't mid ankle shoes, you won't be fording too much water with these, but for running around in packed snow they kept my feet dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Original_Bieber from Perfect All Around Shoe A stiff boot like shoe minus the ankle support. Extreme grip on all surfaces all thanks to the Stealth Rubber, no need to worry about losing your footing while out on a hike or a walk on the town. I would like to see Adidas add the speed lace or Boa lace system into this shoe. It would only make the shoe better. Tying shoes is so 2017. Size is in line with all other Adidas models. I would say that if you have wider feet these would be a try before you buy shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hans from Issues with Heel Cup I bought these for technical approaches to mountaineering objectives and low-5th class soloing. I loved the climbing capabilities of the shoe, and they performed well on approached up to 4 miles. I was looking forward to seeing how they performed on snow and kicking steps as well. However, with longer distances and heavier loads, I ran into issues with the heel cup, which is hard plastic and has no cushion material like my other Adidas, Sportiva and Scarpa approach shoes. I have a bump on each heel that became a hot spot with these shoes, but is accomodated by the cushion in all my other shoes. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use these for my planned summer alpine trips this summer--couldn't risk blisters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Canyonpro from Best Canyoneering Shoes I Have Owned I have been canyoneering for over a decade. I have owned many different types and brands of canyoneering shoes and these are the best ones I have owned. They have the great Stealth rubber and they are comfortable and durable and don't delaminate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jwitt from Solid multi-use approach shoes I've owned a couple pairs of these - high top and low. Both are well made, waterproof, and solid hiking/approach shoes. These are stiffer then most approach shoes on the market - which makes them long lasting and particularly good at edging. They are a go to for long approaches & trekking, easier climbs and places with snow where their stiff soles excel. They run true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 4EST from Love the terrex line up, best pair ive owned. Ive wore out probably 6 pairs of terrex shoes in the last 5 years. I average 5-8 miles a day, I am very hard on all gear. They hold up remarkably well for what they are. The scope gtx is my favorite pair to date. Goretex is awesome for Montana weather. Nice to be able to walk thru a couple inches of snow or wet grass and not get wet feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JayDawg from Very durable I just got these a couple weeks ago. I finally took them on a walk today just to start breaking them in. They are very comfortable. I can tell they are going to be great for the rugged hikes I plan on wearing them on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Eric Kuusisto from Shoe fit ! They were a bit more narrow than the Swift’s . And pointier to the point my heal would slip out one they were broken in. So I didn’t want to risk keeping them.
