Poor Fit
The top edge of the shoe bothered me from day one. I could feel my ankle getting sore while hiking on uneven terrain. I decided to replace the laceing system with an elastic lace to minimize the tension at the top of the shoe. The laces that come with the shoe had no give and seemed to cause more pain. The elastic laces definitely helped but I’m still getting irritated by the top edge. My plan is to look at the return policy with Adidas and pick a different model.

Another great shoe, in design and function
I find the Terrex Fast GTX to be another perfect shoe in design, function and comfort. The shoe holds my foot well. I is comfortable in every application on the trail and performs great with light loads. I don't carry heavy anymore.
