Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes I bought a pair of these for my 75 year old mother. She has worn them every day since they arrived. They look great and she doesn't have to worry about slipping when walking outside in rain or snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money Let me just start this off with I am the last person that would be caught dead online shopping for any type of shoe that wasn't Tory Burch or Michael Kors but I have recently taken a serious liking to hiking with my dog. After realizing that all of my sneakers I owned would not work, perhaps after sliding down the side of a ravine in a mud pile was the cherry on the cake. I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching new shoes to wear. I am never going to be that person that is wearing the hiking back back with the walking stick so I was not going to spend a fortune but I needed something that allowed us to hike 10 + miles without killing my feet me the next day and keeping my feet dry. I read that these were not water proof but "water resistant". I learned the first time I wore them when my foot got wet that yes they definitely were not water proof because I could feel some water go in the shoe. I'm not going to lie, although I read posts that they were one of the higher ranked choices, I chose them 1 for their cost, if they sucked I wouldn't be mad I spent a fortune and 2 I thought the teal part was pretty so at least there was pretty part of what I thought was a kind of ugly shoe. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. Mind you I live in Buffalo, home of the land where it apparently decides to give you a mild winter but then snows 2 weeks before Memorial Day weekend, figure that one out! I decide to go on an 11+ mile hike with my dog in freezing cold temperatures where it proceeded to pelt us with rain/snow for 3+ hours. On this hike we came across 2 creeks of which there was absolutely no way to cross without physically going through the water. I refused to do that since I knew we had miles to go and again it was snowing. After attempting to try to jump on rocks which barely had any my foot completely immersed in water. Awesome! I get to the other side, thankfully have a space pair of socks, change my sock and proceed on my way. All the while I know my new sock is going to instantly be soaked that was my only option. I did feel it get wet but was surprised it was not soaked. Come to creek number 2. This one is now wider and deeper with even less rocks to step on and much farther apart. After numerous attempts at how we will get across my foot once again completely submerges in the water. I'm talking full blown under water. Even better. I proceed to take my shoes off and go through the creek bare foot. At this point I am beyond furious and thankfully no one was in the woods with us because they would have heard quiet the conversation between my dog and I (clearly one sided). I once again proceed to use my last "dry" sock on my completely sopping wet shoe to walk our remaining 7+ miles. Again I am waiting for my sock to be soaked but it doesn't completely soak through and I am not wearing thick socks by any means these are stupid cotton socks that should not have been brought along but at that point i was thankful at least I had something. 10 minutes later I realized my shoe was COMPLETELY DRY. I mean bone dry: sock, foot, shoe you name it. I literary was stunned beyond belief. The only thing that went home dry at the end of that hike was my shoes. Who would have thought. I hate writing reviews and I'm sorry for the long winded one but I would 100% buy another pair of these in a heart beat and absolutely recommend them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits out of box Just like every Adidas shoe I ever bought it fix right out of box no need for breaking in but it runs a just smidge narrow. Which I was surprised because Adidas usually has a nice size toe box.(why I buy them over other brands) But my feet just miss the mark for need wide width so keep that in mind when judging this review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Immediate comfort put 6-8 miles on these babies. Cushion and comfy - - I might have gotten a size too big though, seems like my foot is sliding left/right a lot.
