Rated 2 out of 5 by Toedragger from Great shoe that lacks durability I have owned three pairs of these, the last being bought about 4 months ago, and will not buy another. The toes blow out extremely quickly regardless of how precise you are with your footwork. The rubber is great and it is a good shoe shape for edges and slightly overhanging stuff. The heel fits poorly but somehow manages to work well and hold even with the extra bulk. The neoprene lining traps odor pretty easily and gets pretty funky compared to a leather lining. It's a good shoe, just not worth the high price for how short lived they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shirm from Great shoe This shoe is fantastic for almost anything. The most comfortable somewhat aggressive shoe I've had in 20 yrs. The toe is a little more pointed than others (but less than the Quantum) so you have to be prepared for that fit and load on the big toe. Also you may want to look at the shape of your foot, this favors "Egyptian" shaped foot. Edges and points like no other. I have these in 7.5 (comfortable performance), 8.5 Quantum (blue), 8.5 street shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gsgibbon from comfortable all around shoe This is my second pair of these shoes. They stretch 1/2 size. Good comfort balanced with solid edging and enough downturn for overhanging climbing. Others have stated that the sole wears out quickly, I agree and anticipate resoling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by handjams from Perfect Wide Foot Shoe If you're looking for a shoe to replace the discontinued Galileo, this has the same fit (for me). I use it for all types of climbing, but mostly west coast granite crack. It's great. There's a tiny of bit stretch over time, but nowhere near as bad as the mocs. I don't have the "empty heel" issue either, I think you need a wide hobbit foot for this shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Orion3941 from Still Waiting Hi, We will write a review of the shoes when we get the shoes exchanged. We love 5.10 shoes and have been ordering them for years. We wish the sizing was consistent across all styles of 5.10 shoes. These were too big. We sent them back. The exchange process has been cumbersome. You have to exchange get a credit and then purchase again. We order lots of things online. Other companies have figured out a smoother and faster exchange process. Surely you can as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Benny from Great for wider feet/ higher volume I purchased these as a gym shoe, but they have performed fantastically at the New River Gorge. The front half of the shoe has a nice stiffness for edging, but the back of the shoe is soft for a great, comfy fit. I went for a comfortable fit (over performance) had been very pleased with this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kin Wah from Verdon VCS I bought them about a month ago. Since then I've only had the chance to climb a few times but they are breaking in really well and are very comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by T Nelson from Great shipping, poor everything else So I bought these in a 10&1/2 about 2 years ago and they were just too tight on me, just in the toe box. It was when I first started climbing and I think it was just too aggressive for my beginner feet. But I still wore though them and bought another style shoe because I was tired of my toes hurting. Now last week I decided to give them another try because I’ve gotten better and I wanted some more stiffness underneath me. But I learned my lesson and decided to get the 11’s so I could wear them for more than a minute without needing to rip them off again. The shipping was awesome, got here the next day, but they were WAY too big. I thought they must have some weird jump between the two sizes, so I got the 10&1/2’s again because too tight is better than too loose. Still too big. I get 10’s and the toe box is right, but I have about an inch of empty space at the heel. I get the 9&1/2’s and now the toes are way too crunched but I still have too much space in the heel. So now I’ve sent back all 4 pairs that I ordered. I don’t know what happened with the sizing, but at one time these were great shoes, now they are so funky. I don’t understand why there’s so much heel! The customer service was pretty good so no complaints there but man, the update to these is a real miss.
