Rated 3 out of 5 by Trixie23 from Great shoe, super bad sizing I read the reviews and thought ok, I'll order a half size smaller but nope, they were still too big and I'm bummed because I can tell they are really great, comfortable shoes with sticky rubber. I wear a 7 but you need to order a 6 and they only had 6.5 so I had to return them. Last year I had to order a full size smaller in a different pair of 5.10s. so hey, Adidas and 5.10, listen up, I've been wearing your shoes for most of my life and that's a LONG TIME and I love both brands but you really need to get with the program on sizing correctly because you are causing a bad carbon footprint with all of the return shipping, not to mention the frustration for your customers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bromanda from I think the sizing has changed I bought these to replace a pair of Freeriders that I've had for a year. I bought the Freeriders in size 7 which is my street shoe size, but they always felt about a half size too small. After doing a weeklong bike trip, I decided I should finally replace the shoes and size up. I bought the Sleuths in a size 7.5, but the fit is still off. Compared to the Freeriders, these things make me look like I have clown feet. They are super long, and I notice I stub my toes on the trail (yikes) and my heel frequently rubs my chainstay. On top of being way longer than I expected, the toe box still manages to squeeze my pinky toes. I may try to exchange them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christine_70 from LOVE this shoe! I've been wearing Five Ten Freeriders for almost a year and recently purchased the Sleuth DLX and I couldn't be happier! I read several reviews before making my purchase and based on feed back from others, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller (I normally wear a 7 and ordered a 6.5), which was a good decision. They are thinner than the Freerider which is what I love the most. I am able to "feel" my foot on the pedal...some might not like this, but for me, it helps with foot placement, which helps me to feel more stable and confident. Aesthetically...they are far more pleasing to the eye! I wouldn't mind wearing them out and about!

Rated 1 out of 5 by JPez from Love the color but sizing is way off I just purchased this shoe in a size 9 but they are more of a men's size 9 not women's. I have been wearing Five Ten for 7 plus years now and never had an issue. The shoes don't specify women's like my old shoes did...maybe this is a change from when Adidas took over??? I'll be hopefully exchanging or returning them so I'm a bit disappointed right now. Please fix your sizing!!! So many negative reviews based on size alone. Check out the sizing difference in the photos. The new shoes don't specify women's anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Isa28 from Comfortable! I went on a two-day bike packing trip and decided I needed something more comfortable that OldSkool Vans. The Sleuth DLX were great! I primarily bought them to use with my MTB but have worn them on a couple of 20+ mile road rides when I forgot my clip-ins. My feet felt comfortable during and after. I am typically an 8-8.5 in adidas. After reading the reviews about these running large, I ordered a 7.5 and an 8. I decided to stick with the 7.5s and returned the 8s. The 8s felt fine but did look a little big. Really pleased so far! Leaving off a star only because I don't yet know how these will wear over time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by iamyk from Way too big I ordered my normale size, a size 7, and like the other reviews, they are at least 1 full size too big. This is unfortunate since the smallest size they sell is a 6.5. I reached out to customer service and they said they won't be addressing the sizing issue and won't have new stock until July or August, so I guess I'm out of luck. They felt comfortable so I'm bummed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by dirtDani from Beautiful Color but RUNS BIG I bought size 6.5 and for some reason it's a 38. Normally you would expect a 37 or 37.5. The shoe was HUGE on me. I always wear 6.5 in Five Ten so it's weird that this model was so big. Ordered a 6 (that's the smallest size they have) - we'll see how that fits.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TaraRidesBikes from Runs Very Big I bought these because I loved the look of them (5 stars), but the sizing is way off. I ordered an 8.5 which is my regular size in 5.10, I also ordered the Freerider Contact in the same size. These were at least a full inch longer than the Contacts and much too big. I returned them and may try ordering a full size down. If the sizing was the same as the other 5.10's they would be great.
