Rated 5 out of 5 by nmrwr85 from If the shoe fits I read a lot of reviews saying the shoes run large, so I went down a half size. I then had to return the shoes because they were too small. The shoes definitely run true to size. Other than the sizing issue, I have been completely satisfied and actually the shoes exceeded my expectations with how sticky the sole is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OldschoolBMXer from Indoor soccer meets 510 dot soles I've had indoor soccer shoes before because of their simplicity and low profile aesthetics and now I get to enjoy them with 510 soles. Great combination as far as looks go and they don't have that bulky padded heel where the back of your pant hem would get stuck in them. As far as fit, they run narrow and slightly larger in size -- so if you're in between sizes go with the smaller size. I'm a true 9 in most athletics brands but since Adidas has taken ownership of 510, I've noticed shoes running slightly larger than before. Not enough for me to size down but it's something I've noticed. They are fairly stiff out of the box but have broken in after a few days of wearing them around town. I don't bike with these, but I'd imagined they'd be great for general biking and DJ riding where flexible soles are better. They'd be too soft for extended pedaling / climbing type of riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Houckhogan from Awesome Alternative! I've not read many reviews that give insight to the actual ride of these shoes. It doesn't seem that most people are wearing these to actual mountain bike. I can tell you, I am beyond stoked with these. I was tired of wearing the same early 2000s looking skate shoes that everyone wears. I've been on the freerider pros for a few years and can't find something to replace them. These did the trick. Grip is great, they repel water and handle the impacts needed while riding. They are very comfortable for a bike shoe. I probably wouldn't wear them outside of biking, though - they are pretty stiff. I did size down from 11 to 10.5, as I wear a 11 in Freerider pros and 10.5 in Vans Pro skates of any type for comparison. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate, they are a great choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthFork542 from Love these shoes Styling is awesome, much prefer them over the Freerider models. I normally wear 5.10's exclusively on my bike but these go everywhere. After a month of continuous wear, I've had no issues with them or any uncomfortable wrinkles, etc. They are a half size larger than the Freeriders and probably a full size larger than the Freerider Contacts (those run the absolute smallest). So, sz13 Freeriders my toe has 1mm of space and can jam if I leave them loose, sz13 Contact toe is jammed all the time and uncomfortable, sz13 SleuthDLX perfectly comfortable and normal fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ianahw from Dry style for the peddle in and wear all day! Bought these for my flat pedal Seattle commute with hopes I could face a little rain and still wear them at the office. So far so good, even with a pretty solid rain. The PU material isn’t as nice as leather — a little stiff and not quite as natural looking — but I’ll take it for pretty dry feet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nick001 from Too Narrow I had to return these, too narrow. The only shoe that fits me in the current five ten line up is the free rider. Adidas have never fit me, so I don't know if this is a result of their taking over the brand. I am guessing most shoe companies only have one or two models (if any) that work for people with wide feet, and aim for the center of the market. I can't recommend these for anyone with wide feet, especially as feet swell a bit on the bike--but likely it depends on the structure of the individual foot,

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gator Jim from The sole is great for traction and action My third pair of 5 10 shoes and they work great, look good, and function. The flat sole with the raised-dot pattern makes traction on the pedal consistent in any environment. Dirt, clay, mud, water, and tall weeds are my challenges and I never worry about my foot coming off the pedal when I put the power down to climb or turn with these shoes. They also clean up nicely
