An all-around lace-up shoe for long routes

Alex and Thomas Huber set a high standard for alpine routes. These men's shoes are designed for the all-around performance that the Huber brothers demand. A wide ball girth and pointy toe box work with a modest downturn and our stiffest midsole to support a natural foot position and diverse climbing objectives. Stealth® C4® rubber handles edging, smear and friction moves on all types of rock to match the shoe's versatile design. Barrel lacing and a perforated tongue create a snug fit without dead space.

FIVE TEN QUANTUM MEN'S CLIMBING SHOE is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great shoe but with quality caveats I've always been weary of Five Ten shoes since they personally do not fit my heel very well, but I decided to try out the new Quantums. Performance wise, they are great. Holds on dime edges and hugs your foot like a glove. Unfortunately after years, Five Ten still has problems with their toe seams. Every Five Ten shoe I've owned, the seam has started separating at the big toe. Hi-Angles, Blackwings, doesn't matter. Exact same with this shoe. I wish they could finally fix this problem as it seems like a big issue if it has happened to every Five Ten shoe I've bought! Shame, there is a lot of toe rubber left on the shoe, the but seam has opened up so much that I cant even climb in them anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great performance not so great durability I really liked the performance and the style of the shoe. It fits like a glove and feels great on the rock but after only a couple of months, I started to wear through the top/front of the shoe. And it's not that I've speared and dragged my feet all over the wall. other shoes usually last me a lot longer. I've had friends encounter the same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My go-to sending shoe I LOVE the quantums! In my mind they deserve 4.5 stars because of a coupe flaws. First off, I have owned probably 4 pairs of these with 2 more in my closet in the boxes. They've been my go-to sending shoe for years and I hope they dont discontinue any time soon. Stiff, precise fit, comfy, and a good fitting heel. Drawbacks include very flimsy laces. I've broken a lace on every. single. pair. My other nitpick is the pull tabs on the back IMO should be form molded or sewn differently because sometimes it is SO hard to get your fingers in them. This is a 5.10 issue and not quantum-specific. My other wish is for a slightly less-sticky but more durable rubber. Bring back the Onyxx rubber! Other than that, I love these shoes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoe ever I got these shoes for all around use and they haven't failed. I've sent 5.13 sport climbs, v8 boulder problems, and granite in Yosemite. I love these shoes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing shoe, watch the sizing 7.5 size was too big for a bouldery fit and I can barely put on the anasazi pinks in 7 and I'm a 9/9.5 in teams. All the same the shoe has amazing power. Maybe not as dime edging as anasazi laces but smears way too well for an aggressive shoe. Excellent heel fit and hooking power for me with narrow heels. Also accomodates my Morton's toe better than any other asymmetric shoe I've worn. The lace system is one of the best I've seen for ratcheting down and while still being crazy fast on and off. Comfortable performance. Excellent all arounder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely comfy, great to climb in! One of the comfiest shoes I've owned. It fits well even with my low volume feet, though I do have to cinch up the lacing really tight. It's perfect for all day climbing, and the rubber is excellent - my footing feels solid no matter how tenuous the foot holds get. It does smell bad after a while though. I've ended up having to stuff a shoe deodorizer after every climbing session in them, and even then it's still pretty ripe. But I like them enough that I'm happy to put up with it, though my partners may have a mildly different opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra comfortable downturned shoe Bought this shoe to have something with a nice, precise toe and a bit of a downturn. These are definitely the most comfortable downturned shoes I have ever worn while maintaining a good fit. One note: Adidas calls these shoes stiff and I don't really think they are. Other "stiff" 5.10s are much stiffer (for example I have the Anasazi Pros and they are much more stiff). More like medium stiffness.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Shoe poor durability Purchased a pair and they had small seam tears after only a month (twice outdoors, mostly indoors) I returned them and have had the same problem with my second pair. Good shoes in regards to performance but I can't recommend for lack of durability. I would recommend the anasazis or hiangles over them.
