Rated 1 out of 5 by PNWclimber from Tore after a session or two Wore once while forerunning boulders. Seemed fine, maybe a little stiff, but it's brand new so it makes sense. Take them to Leavenworth to climb a few days later and see that the leather next to the stitching on the leather upper is torn. I put them on and a couple hours later revealed that the other side of the same shoe now also had a tear next to the stitching. Overall, I'm fairly disappointed. I had just lost my older pair of Moccs I purchased a couple of years ago, and now I find that the quality of shoe itself has declined? I'm now looking at different brands to find a decent climbing shoe, and am returning the Moccasyms ASAP.

Rated 3 out of 5 by gabrielv from Sad to hear about quality I have owed Mocs since 2015 and I love them! They are great for crack. Sad to hear everyone's shoes are tearing so easily. These are the longest lasting 5.10 shoes I have ever owned, no holes or tears. The rubber on the toe is finally starting to break through (which I would expect, they have lasted so much longer than I thought!), so I need a replacement soon. They are brought me so much joy at Indian Creek, Joshua Tree, Red Rock- all the classics for crack climbing. After reading all these reviews, however, I think I am going to switch brands. Sad to see the quality has depleted, mine lasted forever in climbing shoe time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by fbcu96 from Shoddy Leather Quality I bought a new pair these and tore a hole in the leather through the top of the toe before I'd even had them a month (and they're not the primary shoe I wore during that time). I'm really disappointed in the quality of the materials in this shoe. I really love Moccs and they're super sensitive, but if Adidas buying 5.10 means their shoes are going to fall apart then I'm not relying on the brand anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MRB123 from Poor quality I had a similar issue with a pair of Mocs I bought a couple of months ago. Within a month of climbing once or twice at the gym the leather tore all along the side of the shoe. I may be imagining things but the fit was a bit off from the several other pairs I had before as well. I am definitely concerned that my favorite shoe ever is becoming a victim of the adidas take over. Hope things change with the next batch so I can keep rocking the mocs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ixxe from Very Poor Quality Leather Let me start by saying that I love 5.10 shoes. I have the other two Anasazi's: lace-ups and VCS and would highly recommend them. I was hoping to complete my Anasazi set with the Mocc. I ordered a size 7 (39.5), and I wear a size 8. Very normal to order two sizes down for an all-leather shoe that stretches. After only ONE MONTH of gym climbing and one outdoor bouldering session, these shoes tore at the ankle (see photo). I did some research, and it seems the recent batch of Moccs are suffering from the same very poor workmanship/materials, while older versions of this shoe last forever. I have been climbing for over 17 years, so I don't (hopefully) think this was due to poor footwork. My fear is that Adidas may be trying to cut corners. I hope they correct this problem, because the Moccs fit great and felt wonderful while climbing. Shoes should be made to last for years, not weeks. Please fix this, Five Ten. It would be a tragedy if we lost your reliable quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sam I from Amazing Shoe - Terrible Quality These are some of the best all around climbing shoes, when it comes to fit. However, the leather quality is absolutely pathetic. They ripped at the seams my first time using them outside. The rips have spread to the point where these are now glorified tennis shoes. For $120, I expected the shoe to last a couple months - not a couple days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Spencer C from Leather tore within a month! This model shoe was excellent until Adidas bought them, and now they wear out before you can resole a single time..? Is throwaway culture is spreading to climbing next? I hope this was just a bad batch, but it feels a little coincidental. Waste of money until we see a return to better quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mas0016 from Need improvement on the quality of the leather Good shoe, very comfy and sensitive. it is reasonable the moccasin has been in the market for about 30 years. otherwise as other reviewer mentioned my pair got tore and hole after indoor use of 4 weeks.
