FIVE TEN HIANGLE W CLIMBING SHOE
FIVE TEN HIANGLE W CLIMBING SHOE
Performance and comfort
Said by many to be the most comfortable of our downturned climbing shoes, the Hiangle is an all-around performance shoe that is relaxed enough for all day climbing, yet aggressive enough to tackle steep, overhanging routes. Its Stealth® C4™ outsole has a thicker application of rubber than many of our downturned shoes (4.2mm) which gives it the stiffest profile in the Aggressive line and a supportive feel on the foot. Stealth® C4™ performs well both indoors and outdoors by blending friction and durability.
- Material: Split-Grain Leather
- Benefit: Stealth
- Weight: 6.5 oz (183 gm)
- Stealth® C4™ rubber outsole (4.2mm)
- Unlined leather upper – ½ size stretch
- Elastic & Velcro closure for a secure fit
- Stiffness: Stiff

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaggieO from Perfect combination of comfort and performance! I've had these shoes for about a year, and, contrary to my expectations, they've become my favorite all-around. I generally prefer a softer shoe (the Team 5.10 has been my standard), and thought these would be too stiff for me on the steep stuff I climb most often, but they broke in super quickly and softened up to have just enough sensitivity to trust my foot placements while still being supportive enough to delay foot fatigue. Definitely the most comfortable downturned shoe I've ever worn. I'm on this page right now to order a new pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Climber3 from Great performance, sticky rubber I've had these shoes for about a month and am extremely impressed with them. Super sticky, great smearing ability, comfortable, and the rubber seems very durable. I've only used them for indoor bouldering, and they work incredibly well on overhung sections. I can't imagine going back to a different brand shoe after these. Only complaint is sizing - I take a women size 8 street shoe and had to get a 9.5 in the women Hiangles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by melm from Huge problems with the leather This is the second pair that I buy for my son in 2 months. Both pairs ripped on top, after just a few climbing sessions. Adidas has a great return policy and provides return slips and freight but it is highly inconvenient when you buy the shoes because you need them. We are impatiently waiting for the synthetic models to be available again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sean from Great shoe, beware of resize! My favorite all around shoe. Lasting rubber, solid heel. NOTE: It seems as if they've changed the sizing of the shoes compared to the hiangles prior to the limited synthetic run. The new 9.5 seem very close to the old 9's. This has happened to a handful of friends as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lizard from Hiangle WMNS These shoes have awesome edging and flexibility. I got them for my trip to Squeamish and love the way they handle slick granite. The heals on these shoes fit very snug. I bought my shoes a whole size bigger than my street shoe and the heal, even with some room, doesn't move. So far I really love these shoes. They are aggressive but comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by a_very from Great for climbing - fit is lacking Climbing-wise, these shoes are great: excellent edging and aggressive enough for overhanging bouldering. However, fit is lacking. These shoes run really small (I had to size up 2 full sizes from my 5.10 guide tennies). They also have an exposed seam in the heel (where the tabs attach) that rubs painfully on my heels when I climb.
