Rated 1 out of 5 by Warchol13 from Quality Control down since Adidas bought 5.10 I've had Dragons, Mocs, and Anasazi Pros. I've heard great things about the hi angles for comfort in an aggressive. I bought these shoes month ago after Adidas canceled my order for the synthetic hi-angle with out telling me. They gave me a code to get the leathers for the same price. Great, thankyou. But I have worn these shoes a total of 5 times for a combined total time of less than two hours in the gym and they are literally falling apart, with plastic material where is should be metal. At least get a plastic that doesn't bend. This current one doesn't let you tighten the shoe properly. Its a climbing shoe guys, come one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tstew98 from Good shoe, poor construction I enjoyed these shoes a ton for the month and a half I got to wear them. I read other reviews after the rubber started splitting along what felt like an obvious seam along the inside of the toe and found that this happens very frequently. I climb on nasty sandstone so nothing too sharp came into contact with the shoe to have this happen. Pros are that this shoe is comfy and performs really well, specifically hooking and standing on small edges. Cons are that it falls apart in months of regular use. Highly unfortunate. Can’t recommend for this reason alone. I wanted to stay with 5.10 but I think quality control needs improved before I give them another shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Isaiah from My favorite shoe Bought this shoe in an 11, am 12/12.5 street. Where I live is mostly technical granite boulders and this thing fricken rips on those. standing on the worst stuff, smearing, edging, you need it you got it. Took it to the limestone roofs, fricken rips on those. Heel hooks like a dream. Took it to some overhanging sport, fricken rips. I'm pretty certain once granite trad climbing seasons comes back to town these will be my go to shoes. Some people say they can't climb vert stuff in em but I say don't size em too small and you'll be good. They're the most comfortable aggressive shoes I've ever owned and I plan on using them on multi-pitch harder granite crack-climbing terrain also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndrewP from Sticky! I'm a size 9 1/2 in trainers and I got the 9 1/2 size in the Hiangles. The break in period was about 2 weeks where it was pretty painful, but after about 6 sessions and a hot water soak, the shoes fit like a glove and is pretty comfortable now. Stealth is insanely sticky. I've had them for about a month and climb 6 days a week with them. So far they seem to be holding up really well. Edging is extremely good from granite crystals to those minimal sandy desert tower edges. Went from La Sportiva Solutions for 4 years to my first pair of Hiangles. Definately sticking with the Hiangles now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SacCAJosh1 from UPDATE to previous review For the ten days I used these shoes they were fantastic and my five star reviews stand. However, after climbing in them a handful of times this large tear appeared along a slight fold imperfection in the rubber. I was extremely dissapointed and have since returned the shoes. Fortunately I had not thrown away the packaging yet. Not the best response time from Five Ten either when it came to the return. Overall, I was really quite dissapointed as while these shoes lasted they were fantastic. An all but too brief love affair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr Lahey from Keep making this shoe! I am on my 4th pair. The stiff profile is key. It gives you the power to stand and push off micro foot holds. The heel is tight, toe hook is good, Its the best bouldering shoe iv ever had. But I am having trouble finding my size now. All the 9 's have been out of stock everywhere for months. I had to order them over seas. I really hope to continue to buy this shoe, if its discontinued there is really nothing comparable in the line for me :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by Keenann from Low Quality Construction I have been a Five Ten customer for close to a decade now, and unfortunately I can see a significant decline in their overall quality and design. The Hi-Angle style was my favorite shoe for years - the perfect combination of comfort and aggressiveness for terrain from slab to overhang. This year I purchased two pairs. The first pair broke apart at the toe box within two months of moderate use. The second pair broke in the same place, and the strap ripped as well all within a single month. I reached out to customer service, which had been helpful in the past. Recently, however, they have been inattentive and dismissive. Their return policy is unrealistic for routesetters and people who can't go weeks to a month without climbing shoes. Given that two brand new pairs of Hi-Angles both rapidly deteriorated and Adidas has ignored my messages, I thought it best to share my experience so no one else encounters the same problem in the future. Truly unfortunate that I have to say goodbye to this brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andrew96 from My favorite shoe-- when they're built right Its right in the middle of climbing season here, and I don't want to send my shoes in to get replaced because even though they blew out way too quickly, they're still the only shoe that has a heel that works well on my project. I really wish adidas would own up to their mistake, send me a pair, and let me send mine in after so I don't have to go without shoes during prime climbing season. I've been trainning for this route for months, temps are finally getting good, and now I have to either try to climb it with a $150 pair of shoes that blew out after less than a dozen sessions or send them in and miss the chance to send my project. I was hesitant to get this shoe. Lately, out of eveyone I know in the climbing community, I've heard more complaints about poorly built 5.10 products that I have with any other brand. Seems like many of these shoes have their stitching fall apart, or the delaminate right out of the box after just a few uses. This has forced my gym to stop carrying 5.10 products. Nonethe less I absolutely love the fit and performance of a good hiangle, I haven't found anything quite as versatile, thats comfortable, and simultaneously good at heel hooking and edging. Very dissapointed mine fell apart.
