Rated 2 out of 5 by Calfornia Flash from Not as comfortable as the 2016 model This shoe has been radically redesigned. The 2016 model was so comfortable it was like wearing your bedroom slippers. The 2016 model was thick in the sides and the tongue. The new model is much thinner and the end result is they are not nearly as comfortable. My 2016 model Hellcat shoes failed (broken buckle) so I had to return them. I could wear them in the winter here in Michigan with one pair of Smartwool heavy sock down to zero degrees and my feet never got cold. I suspect that the new model will not be as warm as the old model. Alas, I have searched the world over but cannot find any 2016 Hellcat shoes. The other problem is Adidas will not longer do any repairs. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by David F from Comfortable and high quality I have been riding on my hellcats for two months with no downsides. Lace up is snug and the velcro strap secures everything even when riding for several hours straight. Support is excellent and still comfortable when hiking over obstacles or after riding just walking normally. They stay pretty dry when riding and can be hosed off and wiped down for periodic cleaning. Would purchase again in a heartbeat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Oldmanmtb from Great skate style shoe for riding clipped in. Love the shoes. These are the second pair I bought. The strap to cover the laces is great. Don’t have to worry about anything bad happening there. Comfortable to ride for hours and easy enough to walk short bits. Not sure I would want to do extended hike a bike in then. Who am I kidding? I don’t want to do extended hike a bike at all! Only down side is they are a bit narrow for my Fred Flintstone feet. But they do fit the widest of any of the off the shelf stuff I’ve bought. I went up 1/2 size for a little more room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DGOJosh from Awesome Clipless Mountain Bike Shoe!!! I bought a pair of the Hellcats a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with my purchase. Im running them with Crankbrothers Mallet 3 pedals. On my first ride they weren’t releasing very well. I believe it’s because I had just replaced my pins and had them set really far out and the Hellcats are so sticky that they really wanted to bite in. I backed the pins down and now they work together really well!!! The shoes are light and stiff. The padding is really comfortable and I feel a lot of support! I’ll be sticking with the Hellcats going forward!!’ I’ve worn multiple pairs of the Giro Chamber and loved the. I’ve had a pair of Bontrager. 1 pair of Pearl Izumi 2 pairs of Shimano. Out of all of those the Giro were my favorite until now. Five Tens are so much better!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cycleman from Expect nothing less from 5.10 The Hellcats are great shoes. They seem to have like an "internal platform" for you foot to work from. For someone who doesn't ride with 5.10's, that means they are like a connecting device to the pedals. The soles grip the pedals leading you to feel like your clipped in just like their climbing shoes feel as though you can walk up a rock face. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by California Flash from Awesome, Comfortable and very warm in winter. I wear these shoes year round. They are extremely comfortable. What is remarkable is in winter, they keep you feet warm down to zero degrees with a good pair of Smartwool socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chaz from Platform Feel with Clipless Security Upgraded from some old Giro shoes recently. Been riding clipless for several years but got a new bike recently and used flats for a while. I loved how big and stable the pedals felt, but missed the security of clipping in. These shoes provide the best of both worlds. They are wide and flat with almost no flex, so they make my pedals feels like flats. They have great rubber on the bottom but they don't have big treads, so hiking up steep muddy spots is difficult.
