Rated 4 out of 5 by Becca from NOTE ON SIZING I couldn't find a size chart on the website anywhere and sizing is kind of all over the map with their shoes, so I just took a shot in the dark and ordered my street shoe size in these (I'm a women's 10, men's 8.5, bought the 8.5). It fits SUPER tight, like something I'd want in a bouldering shoe, and since they're mostly synthetic, I don't expect a ton of stretch. If you're looking for an "all day trad climbing" shoe, I'd definitely size up half a size from your street shoe size, maybe a whole size if you're fixin' to wear them with socks at any point. Going straight back so I can't test them out, but they feel like they'll be comfy and they look rad! Nice and stiff, like the padded ankles. I'll update when I have a pair I can wear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seen from Comfort first, performance first Same-ish fit to pinks. Bit narrow at the front but a minimal amount. I'm a 9.5 street and if I was looking for an all day shoe I'd probably go up from the 8.5 I ordered. 8.5 is feeling like a 3-5 pitch shoe but not one you leave on in between pitches. That said, I wouldn't blink to pull these on for my 5.12 projects, either. Somehow comfortable enough to edge and smear all day on a long trad route but powerful enough to really get at the toes on overhangs. The midsole really bumps your toe up and puts it in a powerful position but never downturns to crush your knuckles. Really paradoxically good shoe. Could use more toe cushion on for hand cracks but really really small factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rcahoon from Good overall shoe I bought my grandstones a month ago. They are nicely broken in. Super comfortable fit at one half size down from my casual shoes (American sizing). Shoe has nice edging, the rubber is fabulous and the shoe is technical enough yet not super painful. I live in the NW and we are currently in the midst of our annual rainy season, so trad climbing with them has been sparse. Nevertheless, I can’t see why these would have any issues in any type of climbing you choose to do. I am likely going to buy a second pair before I wear these out just Incase they are discontinued for any reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DagNabIt from Excellent These shoes fit my feet incredibly well. I am a Kool-Aid drinking, Pink fan for trad climbing. These fit very similar to pinks and the sizing is exactly the same imo, I went a half size down from my "usual" street shoe size. There is obviously a more down turned toe than the pinks. The heel, sole, and toe box otherwise fit exactly the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kevinmoe from Tight at first I wear an 11.5 street shoe and bought the same. I was kinda bummed when I got them as they were really tight and I could only wear them a little at a time. I thought I was going to have to buy another and size up for an all day trad shoe. After a week of off and on wearing them they softened and stretched so much that they are easily worn all day, in fact they stretched maybe a bit too much and my next pair will be sized down a half size. If you get them and they feel too tight, give them a chance and push through the first week and they will quickly stretch out. BTW, they are a great shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Winston from Trad is Rad so is the Grandstone Grandstones ate the truth. Never rocked a TC Pro but from all I gather these are the equal with maybe some better features. Awesome edging, rigidity is great in tight or flared cracks, for the stiffness and aggressiveness they offer supreme comfort. Climbed 50 or so laps/rotes on primarily fist cracks and splitters. Grip is great, comfort is great. Recommend ordering street shoe size from my experience. I’m a 13 work boot and a 13 Grandstone was spot on. Snug at first but minimal stretch on breakin delivered. Time will tell how they hold up but so far I highly reccomend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from My new favorite Only ran a few laps outside so far, but really impressed. Normally wear 11 in all 5.10 ( Anasazi vcs, quantum lace, hi angle vcs, dragon lace, and stonelands vcs). Think 5.10 designs each shoe to be different in the same size. Like my dragons friggin hurt, but that's how they were designed: super tight and super sport sendy. while Anasazi vcs are super comfortable and was imho the best mixed use shoe( sport and trad). Grandstones are super comfortable like an Anasazi, but cocoon your foot and ankle. The toe box is roomy, but super solid on holds. It feels like the whole toe box is using the hold, don't know how to explain it. This are translates into the most confidence inspiring shoe I've ever used. For reference I did a climb in otakis ( 2 favorite sport shoe after quantum lace), then grandstones. The grandstones just felt more confident in some of the toe holds. Not saying I'd stop using otakis, just that grandstones are an amazing shoe that performs well as a comfortable and sendy shoe sport or trad. Waiting to see how they stretch / break-in, so ymmv

Rated 5 out of 5 by J chan from my new favorite shoe I've had these shoes for about three months now and am loving them. I just got back from a two week trip to El Petrero Chico where, after a day of using other shoes, I exclusively climbed in the grandstones because I felt so much more confident smearing and edging in these than I did with my other stiffer shoes. The c4 stealth rubber was magical for the vertical and less than vertical limestone climbing. I've also really enjoyed the protection they offer in cracks in that I haven't really noticed any pain from the rock while jamming (which is sorta nice). I got these in my street shoe size 9, and I would say they are fit for long multi-pitch comfort. I don't think they are to big as I've now climbed my hardest sport climbs in these shoes, but I will be ordering some 8.5's for my next pair. Also purple and teal, so rad.
