Rated 5 out of 5 by MM11 from Great Casual, Beginner, or Gym Shoe Bought this shoe to be my less aggressive/ all day gym shoe. They describe it as minimal stretch so I bought a half size bigger than my street shoe. I've had about a dozen gym sessions so far and they have softened up while breaking in, but with minimal stretch. The edge is good and the grip is great, exactly as you would expect from 5.10 shoes. Heel tension is low and the neutral shape is great for long gym sessions on and off the wall. I wanted a shoe where I wouldn't be constantly pulling the heel off between ropes, but still performed well; this shoe definitely fit the bill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ryleerents from Feel great, but very quickly degradedu The shoes feel great and have great traction. But, the sole started separating from the shoes almost immediately. Repaired them with shoo goo, but still disappointing to see it start after just 2 climbs. Other than the build quality, i love the shoes and thats the reason I didnt return them, but i do wish they held up better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hudsontp from Very grippy and good intermediate shoe Got these on sale, and just picked up another sale pair for when i blow out the first ones. They have a good edge and stiff enough for some more tricky footwork. Much better grip than the Scarpa Force X I had before, and stiffer than the Five Ten Rouge that I found disappointing. Rec'd these to a buddy who also picked up a pair on sale for a gym shoe and he is pretty happy with. I've been using these just for outdoor and they have helped me trust footing more. Not super aggressive, so they are pretty comfortable to wear, and for me the fit is pretty true to normal shoe size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by smokybandit from ....they are also performing very well! I ordered these 1 size larger than my street shoe size, and they fit perfectly. They are my designated gym shoes so my feet don't get so jacked by more aggressive shoes. I am very happy with the fit, and they are also performing very well. Great grip. I would also like to mention Adidas handled my inquiry exceedingly well. Very professional.

Rated 2 out of 5 by KevK from Great shoes but not recommended The fits and feeling of the shoes were great. It's a stiff, beginner to intermediate shoes. The reason I rate 2 stars because of its performance. The friction of the shoes were not bad. It performs well on edges, felt okay at overhang problems but super hard to stick to the small footholds on overhang (due to flat and non-asymmetric). The reason I do not recommend buying this is because of its bad quality. Literally after 1 hour of climbing/warming up on some easy boulders, the toe rand start to split from the sole. I don't know how many sessions I can train with these--they are not break-in yet but already became like this. If you were like me who do not trust other reviews about how bad the quality of these shoes are, then feel free to buy a pair and test it out. At least the performance aspect is not bad. Btw, I never had any of this kind of issues wearing La Sportiva, Mad Rock, or Scarpa shoes. Even the Five Ten Wall Master was more durable than these Gambit, but Wall Master do not perform as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Odyssey2001 from Excellent but... I have climbed in these shoes for a couple of months, sport and gym. Sticky, flexible and fit is excellent. However, I really dont care for the inner tongue style. It makes it very hard to take them off and put them on. Additionally, the soles started to split at the toe though this could have been because I kept the shoes in the trunk. It gets hot in northern california too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by climber1234 from so far so good as a beginner shoe Have been climbing in these for about a month. Feels a little softer and more molded to my feet but has not stretched significantly. I sized up one size from my regular shoe size. No signs of wear yet on the rubber. Comfy enough to not have to take these off in between problems / routes. Not the best for toe and heel hooks, but a solid beginner shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jaja from Falling apart after 2 months I bought these in May for 75$ thinking it was a good deal. I was wrong, two months later the sole was already coming apart at the toe. I've primarily been gym climbing and have not even been able to go that often this summer. I bought these to make my other shoes a backup, but these are soon going to have to be the backup shoe.
