FIVE TEN GAMBIT LACE MEN'S CLIMBING SHOE
Comfort on long routes, trad climbing, slab climbing, gym climbing and beginner to intermediate rock climbers

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vecc39 from This is a shoe This is a good shoe. This is a shoe that is good for many things. This shoe is not amazing but this shoe is a good shoe. The rubber will hold true on the holds, my feet get fairly hot in the shoes, heel hooks are above average. I wear a street shoe of 10 and I ordered these in a 9.5, obviously right at first, stretched fairly quickly but snug as a rug! This is a shoe that does all things well such as fit/sizing snug, grip small toe holds to hold my entire weight on, non aggressive for overall climbing ability, and I would highly recommend for most climbers (probably not seriously skilled V7+ boulder climbers)

Rated 2 out of 5 by MyKale from Good Rubber but not so great craftsmanship I got this shoe about 2 months ago and have been using it exclusively as a gym training shoe. My first impressions were this shoe is very grippy and you can use the shoe to stick or smear on most surfaces. Unfortunately on the left shoe at the toe area, the sole is already starting to separate from the shoe. I have only been climbing 2-3 times a week and the shoe has already started to fall apart. What's strange is that it only happened on the left shoe and the right shoe isn't as close to falling apart.

Rated 2 out of 5 by akanefive from Comfortable but the construction isn't up to par I bout these shoes in April and really like climbing in them. Stiff but comfortable: I have a great feel for the wall in them but can also wear them an entire session without issue. The real disappointment in these shoes is the sole, which began separating at the toe almost immediately, and two months in I'm close to either needing a new pair or getting these resoled. Typically I climb in shoes 10 months to a year before I need a resole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Same from So far so good I had to break them in a little. I bought them for long multi-pitch days to be a comfort shoe. They are a little narrow, (like most 5.10 shoes) but I have been able to make them work. I did the wear in the shower and around the house method first. Then took them up Epinepherine. They weren't really uncomfortable until the last couple of pitches. Kept them on the entire time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jesse from Great shoe, comfortable for all day Awesome shoe, very comfortable. Did not have to size down at all. I’m 11 in street shoes and actually wear a 11.5 in these, comfortable for crack climbing. My toes touch the edge and shoe is tight but knuckles aren’t curled

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spraying beta from Now I can climb 5.10! Great shoes for the person that realizes aggressive downturn and extreme downsizing won't make them as good as their YouTube heros. Stiff, good rubber, and leather that stretches to your foot's shape make me a happy buyer. I ordered my street size and got a shoe that is tight, but not uncomfortably so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nwBird from These are the ones I wanted. I bought these because they are lined leather mainly but they ended up being far more comfortable and grippy than I thought. Originally I bought Anasazi pinks in size 9 one half size larger than my normal shoe size. They are good shoes but the heels are so aggressive and only really fit right when my toes are pointed up, I think this is how they are supposed to be. They are great for edging and I like them but they are synthetic fabric and once they got used a few times they got to stinking really bad despite cleaning them with vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, soap, etc. I will still use them but sparingly. The gambits are lined leather that stretches/molds to my feet, hopefully they will handle sweat better and are way more comfortable for all day climbing, multipitch, etc. In comparison to the pinks the gambits are more sensitive which I actually like but won't be as good at edging. I got size 9 gambits and were tight the first day. Fit about right the second day of indoor use.
