Rated 5 out of 5 by Amy S from Very durable and comfortable I bought my freerider pros in April 2018 and now have over 2 years on them and about 4,000 miles. Compared to the freerider canvas model they replaced, they offer a fair amount more toe protection and are much more breathable (my feet overheated a lot in the canvas version). They are finally nearing the end of their lifespan as my pedal pins are wearing through the bottom of the sole on one shoe. With all those miles, including 8 days at whistler and dozens of bike park days in CO, they show just a few scuffs and a lotta dirt on the outside. My only complaint? Please offer more colors! I'm ready to buy another pair and now all that is offered is another shade of gray..

Rated 4 out of 5 by Capebikegirl from Finally I have been through several models of FiveTen over the years with minimal stoke on the comfort level but stuck with them due to the impressively grippy rubber. I figured one last shot now that adidas has taken over. This is the best pair I’ve owned yet. The fit is drastically improved, the quality is improved, the toe box is slightly padded on the top and the laces are finally an appropriate length for a bike shoe. Still wish they had a better insole instead of the rock hard cardboard thing but swap them out with something that works for you and they’re great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lizzie from Amazing shoes! They shoes were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I rode clipless for 10 years, and switched to flats last summer just using some 5.10 hikers. These are way better. They're super sticky on the pedals, and just the right blend of rigid and flexible. They provide a great platform when climbing, and hold like being clipped when carving corners, but still give you the freedom to pitch the bike and land on both feet if you get tossed when things get rowdy. And they look awesome too - I got the black/cobalt blue and and love them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by elaino123 from Super comfortable and protective, confusing sizing I bought the Freerider Pros (size 8.5) and Sleuth DLX (8). My old Freeriders are an 8.5, but the Pros fit at least half a size too big, which I only realized after a few days of hard riding when the plushness had gone away, then my toes were swimming in extra space! I ended up ordering the size 8 and will have the resell the 8.5s. Don't get me started on the Sleuths...they fit even longer. Besides the sizing issues (why is it all over the map with Five.10??), these are very comfortable for riding flat pedals, offer ample protection from rocks and roots with the hardened forefoot, and have insane grip! Great shoes, just make sure you size down at least half a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimmyG from Great Overall Bike Shoe I have had my Freerider Pros for almost a year. I ride flats on my trail & downhill bikes and these shoes work great for both! They took a few rides break in but once they did, couldn't be more comfortable. And the protection in the toe box has saved me from some painful rock blows. Plus the black/pink color combo is pretty cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by love2mtb from Great Fit! I have always worn a size 7 shoe. When 510 changed their last on the Women's Freerider Contact several years ago, I had trouble really getting the shoe to fit comfortably -- ended up going up a full size, but then the shoe just was too wide. I had heard good things about the Pro and read somewhere to size up 1/2 size. So, I purchased the shoe in a 7.5. I honestly could have worn my usual size of 7, however the 1/2 size difference will allow me to wear thicker socks for cool weather riding. The shoe is comfortable. The only down side to this shoe is that I need to move my feet a lot when I mtn bike and prefer the Contact smooth patch so that I don't get 'stuck' in one position. Otherwise, this shoe rocks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bergey from The best rubber but bigger this year I have been using the Freerider Pro for a few years now. My most recent purchase (a few weeks ago) was too big in the toe box and length. I had to return the first pair (a size 9) and go down a half size and I'm considering going down another half size because the toe box is too big. I have particularly narrow feet so it's unfortunate for me that the toe box got bigger - I have to really cinch down the laces and I still find it roomy. This makes feeling and getting feedback from my pedals harder because my foot is sort of floating around in the front. But, Five Ten always delivers in the rubber and grip department. I hope someday someone offers custom mountain bike shoes for all shapes of foot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zipora74 from Flat and Tread-WOW Bought these specifically for long distant and mountain UNICYCLING. I’ve always chose sneakers with an arch and heard these were better. I’m sold! They were fantastic. Held a nice grip on my spiked pedals, never once slipped. Very comfortable.
