Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally I have been through several models of FiveTen over the years with minimal stoke on the comfort level but stuck with them due to the impressively grippy rubber. I figured one last shot now that adidas has taken over. This is the best pair I’ve owned yet. The fit is drastically improved, the quality is improved, the toe box is slightly padded on the top and the laces are finally an appropriate length for a bike shoe. Still wish they had a better insole instead of the rock hard cardboard thing but swap them out with something that works for you and they’re great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing shoes! They shoes were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I rode clipless for 10 years, and switched to flats last summer just using some 5.10 hikers. These are way better. They're super sticky on the pedals, and just the right blend of rigid and flexible. They provide a great platform when climbing, and hold like being clipped when carving corners, but still give you the freedom to pitch the bike and land on both feet if you get tossed when things get rowdy. And they look awesome too - I got the black/cobalt blue and and love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit! I have always worn a size 7 shoe. When 510 changed their last on the Women's Freerider Contact several years ago, I had trouble really getting the shoe to fit comfortably -- ended up going up a full size, but then the shoe just was too wide. I had heard good things about the Pro and read somewhere to size up 1/2 size. So, I purchased the shoe in a 7.5. I honestly could have worn my usual size of 7, however the 1/2 size difference will allow me to wear thicker socks for cool weather riding. The shoe is comfortable. The only down side to this shoe is that I need to move my feet a lot when I mtn bike and prefer the Contact smooth patch so that I don't get 'stuck' in one position. Otherwise, this shoe rocks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall Bike Shoe I have had my Freerider Pros for almost a year. I ride flats on my trail & downhill bikes and these shoes work great for both! They took a few rides break in but once they did, couldn't be more comfortable. And the protection in the toe box has saved me from some painful rock blows. Plus the black/pink color combo is pretty cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Momma Likes Them Got these for my wife as she is getting into riding with me and our boys. She liked that they didn't look quite as much like a skater shoe. These seem to be a more durable option than the standard freeriders. I always tear up the mesh panels on the standard ones and these would eliminate that for sure. they are a little more stiff but that is ok really. She said that they are comfortable and that the sole is really sticky compared to the shoes that she was using, which is what I was after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flat and Tread-WOW Bought these specifically for long distant and mountain UNICYCLING. I’ve always chose sneakers with an arch and heard these were better. I’m sold! They were fantastic. Held a nice grip on my spiked pedals, never once slipped. Very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite shoes for riding flat pedals The regular Freerider is too soft, the Impact is too stiff, but the Freerider Pro is just right! The volume in the shoe is a good snug fit (while the regular Freeriders have more space above the toes) which I prefer while riding. The sizing is true. These are truly my favorite shoes to ride flat pedals with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! I used to use my vans for ridding, which was almost perfect with the RaceFace Chester pedals. However, I didn't feel like I had the freedom to move my foot where I wanted it on the pedal. The pegs would settle into the groves of my vans and I felt like I couldn't get the right position. These FreeRider Pro's were a game changer. They have a great grip but I still feel like I can re position my foot as needed. The fit was great for me too. They are stiff, but I like that about them. The toe protector is a nice bonus as well.
