Rated 4 out of 5 by Rynomx785 from Better grip on flat pedals than skate shoes I was on the fence about spending the money on Five Tens because I had heard mixed reviews on whether or not they actually provided better grip with flat pedals than skate shoes like Vans. After one ride I am truly impressed and can honestly say they are worth the money. My feet stay in place much better than they did with my Vans. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is they don't seem to breathe very well even though there is a decent amount of mesh material on them. I have only had them for a month or so so I can't attest to their durability. They do seem like a quality shoe though I feel like will be easily as durable as a pair of skate shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sookie from Industry standard, for a reason. I have tried many flat pedal shoes, and researched even more, there really is a reason why Five Ten's come up on pretty much every Google search for Flat Pedal shoes. These fit true to size, but if you'd like just a bit more toe width, I'd suggest 1/2 size up. They stick like glue to my pedals, and are pretty dang good for "hike a bike" situations as well. The soles offer a firm pedal platform, while still being flexible enough to wear to and from the trail too. All in all, I doubt you'll find a more durable, comfortable, functional and good looking Mountain Bike shoe anywhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Noelege from These shoes just work, hands down !!! I had slight fitment issues, had tried on size 10, my normal size at REI, they fit perfectly, however they did not stock the color way I was after... I went on the Five 10/Adidas Outdoor site, found the pair I was interested in n ordered up... Upon receiving them, I noticed they were a size to big, I simply called the customer service line, got Daniel ext. 144, he was amazingly helpful n my correct fitting pair was at my door in 2 days... I have now ridden in them twice, like I said above, these shoes just work !!! I immediately noticed improved stability, grip is far better n between the comfort n look, these will be the brand I'm loyal to... THANKS again Five 10/Adidas's/Argon, AWESOME product n GREAT customer service !!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by markV from Exactly what I was after bought these for cycling with spikey flat pedals. Typically the pedal peel the side of the shoe from the sole of the shoe. The bottom of the FreeRider wraps up and is stitched to the upper. After my more than a month of use, I am expecting these to go a couple of years. Sticky bottom. Flat, firm feel inside the shoe. Nice wide toe-box. They seem really well made. A bit beefier than the sneakers I usually wear. I usually need a wide 12.5 US sized shoe. Had to go to 13s for these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OldManonMTB from Soooo sticky After reading reviews stating how great these are for sticking to pedals I got them but more because I thought they looked great. I really didn’t think they would be that much better for gripping my pedals than the shoes I was wearing. I was so wrong. I almost feel like I’m clipped in. These are so sticky. So glad I bought them. As I expected they look great and are very comfortable. I will definitely buy these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Unassuming Trail Slayer from Grippy Goodness I purchased these as a second pair of riding shoes so my Freerider Pros could have a chance to dry out between rides. Though not as stiff as the pros, they breathe much better, and dry out more quickly. These have become my go to shoe on warmer days. The soles are as grippy as you could ever want. Sometimes a bit too much when making small adjustments on the pedal. Just have to lift a bit to adjust. Just a heads up. I have been scolded by my wife several times for the scuff marks left on the kitchen floor from these soles, and spent a bit of time cleaning up said scuff marks They seem to be durable and well built, and after several rides, the soles show very little signs of wear.
