Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris P from My favorite shoe Great combo of edging power and flexible toe box for overhanging terrain. Comfy and precise at street shoe size. This is my favorite shoe and have gone through three pairs. This shoe is soft enough to really feel the features under you — really helps with learning proper foot technique, or quickly grasping position-sensitive beta. However the shape of the shoe gives awesome edging power. Def recommend over hiangle etc. incredibly versatile shoe, especially if you got them toes of iron or climb with your legs more than upper body. Might be a little too “early” for V3-V5 climbers, but it really teaches you to read the rock with your feet so may be good for anyone. Excited for the update, so we’ll see how it works out. Only critique for this old version is the heel (a little too deep, despite proper tight fit) and the toe box (not a lot of rubber where toe hooks are strongest). The new version is rumored to address these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chossboss from The race cars I absolutely love this shoe, sent some of my biggest projects in them but boy do these hurt. I call them the race cars because you just want to hurry up and send so you can take them off. But other than that by far the best performing shoe I’ve used, amazing for steep climbs and that stealth rubber never fails!

Rated 5 out of 5 by crimpandcampus from great rubber, very sensitive, fit perfectly I'm sad to see this iteration of Five Ten Dragons to leave production. Not only did they offer top notch performance but they looked snazzy, too. A little piece of my heart will fade away when the soles wear out on my last pair...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam1337 from All time! Wish they were making shoes as sensitive and high performing as these nowadays. No extra rubber you don’t need, just straight sticky icky. Love the dragons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nycdragon from Possibly the best bouldering shoe on the market It makes me very sad that Adidas has cancelled this shoe. I've been climbing in the new orange Dragon for about six months now, and it does not compare to the original. Adidas handled this terribly. There was no need for an upgraded shoe in the first place. I'll admit the new orange ones may look cooler, but this is outweighed by the quality of the shoe itself. Then it took them nearly two years to get the upgraded Dragon on the market, and during this time the original was very difficult to buy. I bought the new Dragon as soon as it came out because I was excited to climb in the upgraded version of my favorite shoe. Wow- was I disappointed. The new shoe is stiffer and less sensitive. The toe box is painful and does not fit my feet the same way the Dragon did. Same with the heel– far less sensitive and less powerful. I keep looking for original Dragons, but I think I may have to switch shoes. I'll probably look to La Sportiva or the Five Ten spinoff, Unparallel, seeing the direction Five Ten is heading in. Please bring back the old Dragon. We will definitely buy them. Remain a climber's brand and listen to climbers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lamont from Great shoe. Hate to see it go. These have been my go to climbing shoes for over ten years. Sad to see them finally discontinued. Hopefully a bought enough with this last release to last me another ten years.
