Rated 5 out of 5 by jl_b8 from Pretty comfy and tons of grip I’ve only gotten a few rides in on flat pedals with these. They grab the pedals pretty darn well, the best I’ve had at least. They fit pretty true, I need a wider toe box kind of shoe and these allowed a snug but not pinching fit in that area. The ankle area has nice cushion, my foot stayed in place and the shoes stay in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by grant725 from These are my favorite bike shoes ever, by far I have a pair of these from about a year ago and they are more comfortable than the brand new black pair I am just now breaking in. Plus, the suede is as durable as any I have ever seen. They are comfortable at first and better with time. The laces which actually have just a bit of stretch in them also allow me to slip the shoes on without untying them (which is helpful since we don't wear shoes inside / even if we did these are not non-marking soles so that could be a problem for some). This feature with the laces also makes them very comfortable. They fit well enough for performance but loose enough not to bind the top of your foot when relaxing. I showed up in these for tennis one day and forgot my other shoes. Besides having too much grip on the court they actually were fine. I mean, these are not as padded as running shoes, and the necessary stiffness for the pedals makes them not the absolute best for all day walking, but they are super comfortable for just relaxing in and have enough arch support for walking... and since my kids and I are always on our bikes, I wear these virtually every day and love them. Again, to reiterate the durability of the upper suede: I do have a different pair of five ten shoes I would wear if I was going out knowing the trails were covered in mud or in the rain, but I was covered in mud this weekend with my son, hosed these shoes off while washing my bike and even used the sponge with just a bit of soap and water, then wiped them with a clean rag... and while the blue color is just slightly faded they look better than new. I'll try to remember to take a photo tonight and post it here. You cannot go wrong with these for style, comfort or performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Krem from 5.10 are the best in flats for mountain and road. S1 soul sticks to the pins like glue on flat pedals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tr_5 from Don't let the casual style fool you! Even though these look low profile and casual, they are anything but when it comes to their top notch performance. These are serious and uphold the 5.10 quality with their sturdy construction and unmatched sticky rubber. These are my goto commuter (all the time), casual & out on the town shoes. I have sized the same in these as in other 5.10's. I plan to order another pair just because. Toss the clips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mtbrider4 from Sticks like glue I was really debating between clipless or getting some nice mtb shoes. I’ve been using vans for quite a while thinking that was as good as anything, but gave these a shot. I couldn’t believe how great they stuck to the pedals, after a couple days I came back and bought my wife some!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yellow from Feels great right out of the box! Low profile shoe, straight-forward design with, grippy, solid construction. Short laces is a nice touch. I wear these Macaskill shoes for trails, street, park and flatland and they work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NathanT from Great riding shoe that's real darn casual. I bought a half size down, because that's what I generally do with cycling shoes for a more snug fit. When I first threw them on, they fit real tight because the shoe is well padded in the toebox and tongue, but not to the point it's like those poofy skate shoes - very 2007. The sole is not super padded, but it is removable, so you can fit different arch supporting insoles if needed. I have a medium high arch, and it rests pretty nicely on the stock insoles. Really nice and stiff. I was riding with Vans and Janoskis on Saint pedals. With those shoes, they flexed a lot in the heel and gave me some foot pain because the sole wasn't stiff. These solved that issue, in addition to grabbing the poo out of the 5mm pins on the Saints. I would feel slip on my other shoes, but these DO NOT move. I will say that it's taking me some time to get used to the fact that I can't shift my foot easily without taking my foot entirely off of my pedals. If you don't want to lose too much shin skin with shallower pins, these shoes will grab the heck out of those pins. It felt like basic shoes with 7mm pins, but even stickier. Very comfortable to walk around in and stand in. 10/10
