Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeroen from a remastered classic I've been climbing with the Anasazi VCS for over 10 years. It has always been my alltime favorite and it's imho the most versatile shoe on the market. Both comfortable and yet still high performing. The recent update to the pro version takes things even further. I really like the toe patch, its a serious added value when bouldering or crack climbing. The increased forward tension results in a reliable feeling on smal footholds. Initially the shoes felt a lot stiffer and less comfortable than the Anasazi VCS around the toebox but once you've climbed a sesion of three in them, the fit is just perfect! My new favorite and most versatile shoe...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tristan B from Favorite shoes ever! These things are amazing. They are great for all day mulitpitch routes to hard steep sport climbings to pulling plastic at the gym. They are pretty stiff so they edge well. The rubber all over the toe is great for cracks, not only for extra grip but also as a cushion from jamming it in the crack. They are really comfortable too and fit my foot really nice. They have the perfect amount of downturn. Overall I’d recommend it as the best climbing shoe for a 5.7-5.12 climber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jackjackjackjackjack from absolutely radical This shoe just became The Shoe for me, the midsole is super stiff and supportive but the toe remains oh so sensitive it's exactly what I wanted. I'm normally a street shoe size 10 and went down half a size to 9.5 in these and they feel perfect so far (might even be able to go down an extra half size in the future but we'll see). They're very comfortable but still give me that extra aggression I need to really crank with my feet. They even feel awesome on overhangs. Only complaint I have is that five ten needs to bring back the dragons. But that's a bit unrelated

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr C from Excellent If you are looking for a very technical review, this will not be it. So far I have found that these shoes are extremely sticky and precise. Great for smearing and holding on to those tiny holds. They are also very comfortable as I was able to wear them for over an hour before taking a break. I went down a half a size from my street shoe and they are tight but comfortable. I might be able to fit into a full size down but I believe that would be a bit too tight. The tongue is very comfortable. The straps synch down quite tight if desired. So far, these shoes seem like they will be a great shoe for bouldering and sport climbing; for indoor and outdoor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pudge from Great but cutting into ankles. Was psyched to get these for more vertical edging and an overall stiffer shoe. Loved the original velcro Anasazis. Tried them out climbing and the seemed super sticky and very precise on the tiniest edges, but... unfortunately the fabric and stitching around the ankles cut into my skin bad. At first I thought maybe just needed to be adjusted with the velcro straps, but it just got worse. So, I will send them back and hopefully be able to exchange them for the Team Vxi which I know from several pairs are very comfortable (even though they are not for micro edging and trad so much). Other than the issue on "my ankles" the shoes seem great. They definitely toe hook really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scrubber from Pro Anasazi Pro I love this shoe! The Mi6 rubber on the toe is what we've been dreaming of on an Anasazi. It helps to hold the toe box shape but doesn't create pressure spots and hooks up so well when toe hooking! I love that the heel has more tension than the Anasazi VCS. These changes certainly create a more performance oriented Anasazi. You can't beat the C4 rubber on the sole. Psyched!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt Z from Good for slab/vertical I've had these shoes for a few weeks and I bought them to use both as less tightly fit warmup shoes as well as for slabby and some vertical terrain that my aggressive shoes don't perform well on. They fit pretty nicely (even the heel is decent, not great though) and for sizing I would recommend half a size down from street shoe for comfort, and a full size down for performance. At half a size down these perform pretty well for me and are also comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. I could definitely go another half size down without much issue if I wanted to go for a more performance fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BenKoz24 from Great First Impressions There are absolutely no reviews of this shoe that I could find before purchasing them so I hope this helps: I bought this shoe because I wanted something stiffer than my Sportiva Solutions for more vertical sport climbing situations. I tried on the Anasazi VCS and a 9 (mens) was comfortable with a very slight heel slip. I purchased the pros because of the stiff (I meant really stiff) midsole and because of the new addition of a toe box for a little more versatility. The slightly more aggressive/forward facing heel pushes my toes into the toe box comfortably, but makes the shoes feel a little more precise and aggressive than the VCSs while eliminating the slippage in the heel. I ordered these in a 9 as well. If you are looking for absolute comfort I would order your street shoe size, if you want the shoe to hug your foot but still remain fairly comfortable I would go a half size down. Shoes are bomb for edging and the rubber on the toe box makes the transition to a more bouldery route easier. If you will be exclusively bouldering, I would not chose this shoe. I would purchase these if you are looking for a more technical sport shoe that can easily boulder if you need it to.
