FIVE TEN ANASAZI PRO CLIMBING SHOE

A collaboration with Shauna Coxsey

The Anasazi Pro was started with the classic Anasazi and an Stealth® Mi6™ toe patch was added offering exceptional friction on volumes and holds. The closure system has been updated with a more breathable mesh tongue, and new Velcro straps which make the shoe more lightweight, breathable, and sleek. A little more heel tension than the classic Anasazi gives the Pro a bit more aggressive and precise fit.

FIVE TEN ANASAZI PRO CLIMBING SHOE is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite shoes ever! These things are amazing. They are great for all day mulitpitch routes to hard steep sport climbings to pulling plastic at the gym. They are pretty stiff so they edge well. The rubber all over the toe is great for cracks, not only for extra grip but also as a cushion from jamming it in the crack. They are really comfortable too and fit my foot really nice. They have the perfect amount of downturn. Overall I’d recommend it as the best climbing shoe for a 5.7-5.12 climber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from absolutely radical This shoe just became The Shoe for me, the midsole is super stiff and supportive but the toe remains oh so sensitive it's exactly what I wanted. I'm normally a street shoe size 10 and went down half a size to 9.5 in these and they feel perfect so far (might even be able to go down an extra half size in the future but we'll see). They're very comfortable but still give me that extra aggression I need to really crank with my feet. They even feel awesome on overhangs. Only complaint I have is that five ten needs to bring back the dragons. But that's a bit unrelated

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but cutting into ankles. Was psyched to get these for more vertical edging and an overall stiffer shoe. Loved the original velcro Anasazis. Tried them out climbing and the seemed super sticky and very precise on the tiniest edges, but... unfortunately the fabric and stitching around the ankles cut into my skin bad. At first I thought maybe just needed to be adjusted with the velcro straps, but it just got worse. So, I will send them back and hopefully be able to exchange them for the Team Vxi which I know from several pairs are very comfortable (even though they are not for micro edging and trad so much). Other than the issue on "my ankles" the shoes seem great. They definitely toe hook really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro Anasazi Pro I love this shoe! The Mi6 rubber on the toe is what we've been dreaming of on an Anasazi. It helps to hold the toe box shape but doesn't create pressure spots and hooks up so well when toe hooking! I love that the heel has more tension than the Anasazi VCS. These changes certainly create a more performance oriented Anasazi. You can't beat the C4 rubber on the sole. Psyched!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great First Impressions There are absolutely no reviews of this shoe that I could find before purchasing them so I hope this helps: I bought this shoe because I wanted something stiffer than my Sportiva Solutions for more vertical sport climbing situations. I tried on the Anasazi VCS and a 9 (mens) was comfortable with a very slight heel slip. I purchased the pros because of the stiff (I meant really stiff) midsole and because of the new addition of a toe box for a little more versatility. The slightly more aggressive/forward facing heel pushes my toes into the toe box comfortably, but makes the shoes feel a little more precise and aggressive than the VCSs while eliminating the slippage in the heel. I ordered these in a 9 as well. If you are looking for absolute comfort I would order your street shoe size, if you want the shoe to hug your foot but still remain fairly comfortable I would go a half size down. Shoes are bomb for edging and the rubber on the toe box makes the transition to a more bouldery route easier. If you will be exclusively bouldering, I would not chose this shoe. I would purchase these if you are looking for a more technical sport shoe that can easily boulder if you need it to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Welcome Upgrade Great intermediate aggressive shoe, fits really nice out of the box and breaks in quickly. I suck at toe hooks but these things have definitely upped my game so the extra toe rubber is very nice. They feel slightly more agressive than the traditioinal VCS which makes heel hooks slightly nicer as well. My one issue is that these are my secondary pair of shoes, and with light use and just over a month I blew a giant hole in the toe. Customer service was great though and I sent them back in and just received a new pair so I'm hoping this pair lasts much longer. A five star shoe for sure if the rubber holds up as well as the VCS (I got about a year of use out of using them as a secondary pair.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bouldering shoe I got these during a new training cycle to have something to boulder hard in. I love the comfort and stiffness; they give you so much confidence in your feet. The heel shape is ideal and is great for heel hooks. The rubber on the toe hooks better than any other shoe I've worn. The added heel tension is actually a great change as it keeps your toes in a precise but still comfortable position, so I have been able to both climb hard and for a long time in these shoes. Probably my favorite climbing shoes I've owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty sweet shoes I have always been a big fan of the anasazi's and theses are just slightly better. If I could only have one shoe this would be them. I will say the heel isn't the tightest fit but other then that they are great
