Rated 5 out of 5 by Gerbs77 from Very comfortable! Since I broke my collarbone, I have been unable to ride and was only wearing around my standard freeriders, which is not the ideal choice for standing around at work! I picked up a set of the access mesh and boy am I glad I did! They are very nice to stand/walk around in and breathe nicely. I typically wear a 10.5 from FiveTen, and although they say to size up, I fit nicely in the 10.5. Will purchase again if these every wear out! Also, since I got them I have gotten back on a bike and they are very nice to pedal in also. Same stealth rubber and slightly more spaced sole dots make for a grippy yet adjustable pedaling platform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boone from Mix a trainer with approach shoe and you get this Bought a pair of the Access leather on closeout from last year and have pleasantly surprised. These are my go to training shoes at the gym. They have stealth rubber so great for cragging when the approach isn't TOO serious. Also a sharp shoe for hitting the bar. ADIDAS PLEASE RELEASE MORE COLORS IN THE MESH. That is my only complaint...I want to buy more but the gray and black are boring. Spice it up!

Rated 3 out of 5 by IsaacMTB from Comfortable but not the best outdoor shoe. I bought these knowing that the Stealth rubber would have awesome grip for “rock hopping” with my buddies. I’ve worn them quite a bit hiking, rock hopping, and for everyday use now for a little over a month. The problem I’ve had with them is that the stiching holding the rubber on toes of both the shoes has come undone and is now peeling. The mesh on the shoe collects small twigs and annoying grass seeds that don’t come out easy other than that this shoe is confertable and grippy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by hiker1989 from horrible design/durability I bought two pairs of these shoes for a backpacking trip stoked on the blend of sticky rubber and lightweight shoe - the first pair, the entire sticky rubber sole of the shoe came apart from the shoe within 3 days of a my trip. The second pair, even after slathering them in shoe glue, also have started coming apart. Horrible durability. Adidas will not refund me as the shoe was made in 2016. Do not go into the backcountry with these shoes they will fall apart on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by andreinert from Grippy I'm a hiking and mountain bike guide in AZ and have been using the Access for about three years now. They hold up very well to everyday hard use and grip great on the local sandstone, limestone and basalt rock in AZ. I've also used them for approaches when canyoneering and love the light weight and cool airy feel on hot AZ approaches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chuck Steve from Very Comfy As a land surveyor and mountain biker I was looking for a light weight shoe that I can walk all day in the woods or pavement and have good support and also hop on the bike for a spin around town with my son. This shoes fits that description very well. I would not use it for serious off road ride, I have my FiveTen Freeriders for that but these work great in a pinch. They would be a great biking shoe if the outer heal sole wasnt so wide, but then it might not be as great of a “approach” / hiking / walking shoe. I think I will be getting a pair of the knit version very soon. I took the advice and sized up a 1/2 size and they fit very well. Can you make some more colors, and please get rid of the white soles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shwn from Sticky Rubber and Good Fit The rubber is sticky... that is great, but it will make marks on your floor if you drag your feet at all. I'm more aware of how I move around on floors where this is a concern. For an approach or hiking shoe these are great. As an everyday shoe, I like how easy I can slip them on, they are pretty comfortable for all day wear, and they are dark enough that they won't get really dirty and show it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wyobouldering41 from Best Long Distance Approach Shoe! I've worn through 6 pairs of these over several years, but we're talking hundereds of miles of big mountain terrain per pair before they die! My current pair has carried me nearly a 600miles this year. Talus, off trail, water for miles, and so many miles of boulders and they keep going!
