Rated 5 out of 5 by webshopper561 from AX jacket > Wandertag I was looking for a functional rain jacket. At first I bought the Glennaker by Columbia. It was ok but the problem was their sizing is 1-2 sizes larger. I’m S so I bought the Glennaker in S but it felt like a M or even a L. The sleeves were too long, the body was too wide. Ended up returning it. I’be been eyeing the Wandertag for long so when I saw the Labor Day sale, i jumped on it and bought it in S. Then I browses some more and stumbled upon the AX Jacket. I noticed quick that the sleeves were not long, but aside from this the AX and the wandertag looks dairly similar. So I bought it too in S. When I got both in the mail, which was 2 days earlier just in time for hurricane dorian, I quickly compared and overall I liked the AX jacket better. AX jacket had perfect sleeve length, the material i thought was higher quality than on the wandertag, and the fit is better for me since i have a slimmer body type (150lbs 5’8” 29 waist) The velcro on the AX jacket also looked better than on the wandertag. It’s got rounded edges and the velcro don’t seem like the fiber would start coming off like on cheap velcros. Also, the spec says “adjustable cuffs”. I don’t think this is the best description. It’s gartered so it stretches/adopts to your wrist. While the Wandertag has velcro cuffs which to me IS true adjustable. So far the only advantage i see on the wandertag is that it has inside pocket, while the AX do not. I know the Wandertag comes in XS but I would still would have wanted the AX. As a summary: if you like a rain jacket that has enough room for inner layers of clothes like during winter, get the Wandertag in your normal size. If you like a slimmer more athletic rain jacket, get the AX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dragon from Great shell for the bike I bought this to use as a winter cycling jacket and it has not disappointed. Heavy enough to use as a shell in the winter, light enough to use by itself in the spring. The hood stashes nicely in the tall collar, which is nice for blocking wind on chillier rides.
