The Anasazi Pro was started with the classic Anasazi and an Stealth® Mi6™ toe patch was added offering exceptional friction on volumes and holds. The closure system has been updated with a more breathable mesh tongue, and new Velcro straps which make the shoe more lightweight, breathable, and sleek. A little more heel tension than the classic Anasazi gives the Pro a bit more aggressive and precise fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jackjackjackjackjack from absolutely radical This shoe just became The Shoe for me, the midsole is super stiff and supportive but the toe remains oh so sensitive it's exactly what I wanted. I'm normally a street shoe size 10 and went down half a size to 9.5 in these and they feel perfect so far (might even be able to go down an extra half size in the future but we'll see). They're very comfortable but still give me that extra aggression I need to really crank with my feet. They even feel awesome on overhangs. Only complaint I have is that five ten needs to bring back the dragons. But that's a bit unrelated

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scrubber from Pro Anasazi Pro I love this shoe! The Mi6 rubber on the toe is what we've been dreaming of on an Anasazi. It helps to hold the toe box shape but doesn't create pressure spots and hooks up so well when toe hooking! I love that the heel has more tension than the Anasazi VCS. These changes certainly create a more performance oriented Anasazi. You can't beat the C4 rubber on the sole. Psyched!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BenKoz24 from Great First Impressions There are absolutely no reviews of this shoe that I could find before purchasing them so I hope this helps: I bought this shoe because I wanted something stiffer than my Sportiva Solutions for more vertical sport climbing situations. I tried on the Anasazi VCS and a 9 (mens) was comfortable with a very slight heel slip. I purchased the pros because of the stiff (I meant really stiff) midsole and because of the new addition of a toe box for a little more versatility. The slightly more aggressive/forward facing heel pushes my toes into the toe box comfortably, but makes the shoes feel a little more precise and aggressive than the VCSs while eliminating the slippage in the heel. I ordered these in a 9 as well. If you are looking for absolute comfort I would order your street shoe size, if you want the shoe to hug your foot but still remain fairly comfortable I would go a half size down. Shoes are bomb for edging and the rubber on the toe box makes the transition to a more bouldery route easier. If you will be exclusively bouldering, I would not chose this shoe. I would purchase these if you are looking for a more technical sport shoe that can easily boulder if you need it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tristan B from Favorite shoes ever! These things are amazing. They are great for all day mulitpitch routes to hard steep sport climbings to pulling plastic at the gym. They are pretty stiff so they edge well. The rubber all over the toe is great for cracks, not only for extra grip but also as a cushion from jamming it in the crack. They are really comfortable too and fit my foot really nice. They have the perfect amount of downturn. Overall I’d recommend it as the best climbing shoe for a 5.7-5.12 climber.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Willf from Welcome Upgrade Great intermediate aggressive shoe, fits really nice out of the box and breaks in quickly. I suck at toe hooks but these things have definitely upped my game so the extra toe rubber is very nice. They feel slightly more agressive than the traditioinal VCS which makes heel hooks slightly nicer as well. My one issue is that these are my secondary pair of shoes, and with light use and just over a month I blew a giant hole in the toe. Customer service was great though and I sent them back in and just received a new pair so I'm hoping this pair lasts much longer. A five star shoe for sure if the rubber holds up as well as the VCS (I got about a year of use out of using them as a secondary pair.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick Rawley from Pretty sweet shoes I have always been a big fan of the anasazi's and theses are just slightly better. If I could only have one shoe this would be them. I will say the heel isn't the tightest fit but other then that they are great

Rated 5 out of 5 by KyleMFSpurgeon from A worthy update I have owned the Anasazi VCS for years now, they are my go to shoe for a great combination of comfort and versatility. The new additions to the Pro make the shoe even better. The toe patch is amazing, and helps tremendously with any sort of toe hooking. I will say that it does add to the break in time of the shoe. With the VCS, I could have them molded to my feet in just a few hours, but the rubber does make the box keeps its original shape a little longer. The increased heel tension is (mostly) a major plus too! It shoves your toes just right into the box, to help gain just a little more precision in your footwork, but also help with heel/toe hooking, if your shoe is sized correctly. The height of the heel combined with the increased heel tension does leave my achilles a little sore after long sessions or multiple days of long sessions, but this goes away after a long break in period (similar but less intense issue with the VCS). Maybe it has just been a while since I broke in my last pair of Anasazis, but I did think that these were a little stiffer out of the box, but, once again, after a good breaking in, this loosening up to what one would know and love from the VCS. All in all, I would say that the Pros are a great addition to the anasazi line, and make improvements exactly where they were designed too. If you're looking for an all day super slat super comfy shoe, the VCS is still the best option, but if you want to squeeze just a little bit more performance out of your favourite shoe, this is definitely the choice.
