Performance and comfort
Said by many to be the most comfortable of our downturned climbing shoes, the Hiangle is an all-around performance shoe that is relaxed enough for all day climbing, yet aggressive enough to tackle steep, overhanging routes. Its Stealth® C4™ outsole has a thicker application of rubber than many of our downturned shoes (4.2mm) which gives it the stiffest profile in the Aggressive line and a supportive feel on the foot. Stealth® C4™ performs well both indoors and outdoors by blending friction and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndrewP from Sticky! I'm a size 9 1/2 in trainers and I got the 9 1/2 size in the Hiangles. The break in period was about 2 weeks where it was pretty painful, but after about 6 sessions and a hot water soak, the shoes fit like a glove and is pretty comfortable now. Stealth is insanely sticky. I've had them for about a month and climb 6 days a week with them. So far they seem to be holding up really well. Edging is extremely good from granite crystals to those minimal sandy desert tower edges. Went from La Sportiva Solutions for 4 years to my first pair of Hiangles. Definately sticking with the Hiangles now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BLOX from Not Perfect I was excited about these shoes when I first got them, but as I tried them out on different projects requiring different types of footwork, I realized pretty quickly that these shoes do not perform quite as well as any other shoe that I own and I would always swap them out for my Testarossas or something else after a few goes. These are decent shoes that fit well, but they aren't quite precise enough to be my go to shoe and I won't be buying another pair. I like these most for in the gym where precision isn't as big of an issue but will continue to try to find routes or boulders outside that these shoes do well on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr Lahey from Keep making this shoe! I am on my 4th pair. The stiff profile is key. It gives you the power to stand and push off micro foot holds. The heel is tight, toe hook is good, Its the best bouldering shoe iv ever had. But I am having trouble finding my size now. All the 9 's have been out of stock everywhere for months. I had to order them over seas. I really hope to continue to buy this shoe, if its discontinued there is really nothing comparable in the line for me :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by Isaiah from My favorite shoe Bought this shoe in an 11, am 12/12.5 street. Where I live is mostly technical granite boulders and this thing fricken rips on those. standing on the worst stuff, smearing, edging, you need it you got it. Took it to the limestone roofs, fricken rips on those. Heel hooks like a dream. Took it to some overhanging sport, fricken rips. I'm pretty certain once granite trad climbing seasons comes back to town these will be my go to shoes. Some people say they can't climb vert stuff in em but I say don't size em too small and you'll be good. They're the most comfortable aggressive shoes I've ever owned and I plan on using them on multi-pitch harder granite crack-climbing terrain also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by birdperson from Excels at Everything Good blend of stiffness, sensitivity, and precision in a single-strap slipper. The first shoe I'll pull out for bouldering and sport climbing indoors and outside; enough of an edge to dig down on hard granite, sensitive enough for roof climbing on plastic. The leather upper stretches and conforms to your foot; expect it to stretch 1/2 to full size from the initial break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moty from Great tool for boulder and sport The Hiangle treats me well and I have no complaint so far. Until now I used them indoor only and grip on plastic is great. I got them on size 10 and they fit well on my regular/narrow foot (size 10 street shoes). Initially the heel gives the impression is not that secure but on bouldering routes I didn;t have any issues. These shoes are indeed probably one of best comfortable downturn shoes I was wearing (I compare them to scarpa instinct and 5.10 team), break in period for me was almost immediately and I am curious to see how they behave outdoor. As a conclusion is a great tool for boulderers and sport climbers and will not disappoint you in terms of performance and comfort (they should not exclude each other and these shoes are the prove).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rafael from Favorite all-around shoe. Had a pair of the blue hiangles when they were on sale, and just recently purchased another pair. Easily one of my favorite shoes of all time. Right out of the box, they're stiff, sticky, and climb pretty well with a short break-in period. I find, however, that these shoes climb even better over time. Once the rubber has a chance to wear down a bit, the hiangles offer the perfect balance of stiffness and sensitivity, and I've never had trouble trusting my feet, whether on tiny foot jibs, slippery volumes, or glossy holds. For size recommendations, I wear a size 10-10.5 streeth shoe, a size 8 solution, size 10 blackwing snugly, and I went with size 10 in hiangles. There is a little bit of dead space in the heel post break-in, so i may try to downsize to 9.5 for my next pair, but even so, these shoes climb exceptionally well and have been both my go-to send shoes and my comfy training shoes.
