His running career started with a dare to run the Virginia Rock & Roll Half Marathon in 2004. Since then, Trey has completed more than 100 endurance race events including the more than 60+ ultra marathons as well as mountain biking events, adventure races and he’s also a Leadman Challenge finisher. After moving to Aspen CO in 2014 Trey learned ski and added Ski Mountaineering to his belt. When he's not out playing in the mountains you might find him in hot yoga or crossfit to make sure the injuries stay at bay. He also plays a mean game of darts, is a LEGO master builder and makes some sweet moonshine. It wasn’t long after that first half marathon that Trey found himself working in and running a specialty running store where he could combine his passion for the sport with meaningful day-to-day work helping people accomplish goals they never thought possible. Trey is an expert in gait analysis, injury prevention, shoe fitting, coaching and developing effective running programs. Combining these skills with his massage therapy practice creates a holistic approach to running, maintaining your body and, most importantly, having fun!
