Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof AND breathable, easier said than done! Gore-tex keeps you dry and the surround tech keeps you cool! Waterproof layers can be notorious for overheating, especially in footware. Luckily the surround tech vents out all the hot air and moisture that can get trapped between the bottom of your foot and the top of the outsole. Problem solved! The mid-top upper layer is suple and super comfy. It provides good stability and warmth even with low top socks. Speedlaces are quick and easy to use. One of the upper loops allows the laces to come off the loop, which is meant to help you put on or remove the shoe. I had some issues with this catching on the bottom of my pants. Continental rubber is bomber as always. A+ traction and the shoe has good overall lockdown to prevent side to side and fore/aft movementsl. Felt locked in both walking and running. Overall a great lightweight hiking or trailrunning shoe. I can use them majority of the time hiking around the PNW where its always wet and muddy. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Impressed These shoes have a sleek athletic look to them unlike general hiking shoes that are chunky and drab. As far as performance, I could not have asked for anything more from these shoes. They kept my foot bone dry through creeks, they were breathable, durable, and surprisingly lightweight! Nothing but praise and would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Technical Boot These boots are awesome. They are light weight but provide sufficient support and protection. They are breatheable while at the same time, waterproof. I usually don't like the way that boots look but these look awesome. The lacing system is quick, easy, and functional. I can't wait to put some more miles on them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Responsive and Breathable High-Top Psyched on the use of Gore-Tex Surround; much greater breathability in a waterproof design. Fit is similar to a high-top trail running shoe but significantly more stable. Reinforced heel and toe caps are great on rocky terrain, and the lacking system is easy to adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable, so light and weatherproof Writing this from Whistler,BC after a week of rain in Vancouver. I'm very happy with these boots. The comfort is beyond my expectations. It's a lush, cushioned ride. I've ran in them and of course they have gone through rain and more rain. Feet? Dry and comfy throughout. I'm going to do some spring snow now. Feeling confident. Another plus is unlike most of these type of shoe, (other Adidas included), these don't look horrific :) Good job Adidas. Oh, and shipping was super fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bombproof yet lightweight I have really putw the miles on these shoes and they still look brand new. The waterproof yet breathable design is almost unbelievable and when I took them out of the box I couldnt believe how light they were! The shoes feel even better than they look and I have not come across a situation where they underpreformed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible attention to detail It’s very rarely that I can recommend a product without any hesitations, but this is one such case. This boot both provides support like I thought I would never find again after my old faithfuls broke, and maintains a light weight and comfort that you would be hard-pressed to exact from a sneaker, let alone a hiking boot. If you’re a fan of form, this boot excels and no one can argue. Although I tend to lean more towards function first, I think it deserves a nod. The details, however, is where the craftsmanship really shows through. It has an attached tongue all the way up, meaning that where water might seep in after a misstep in a normal boot, your feet will remain dry to several inches deeper than normal while wearing these. Also, support is strongest on the sides of the ankles, meaning that you will not roll your ankle, but can still retain a normal range of motion, especially nice for steep climbs and preserving a natural stride on long days. I received these a while ago, and have lagged so much in reviewing because I was always sure that there would be some circumstance where they did not stand up. Several weeks and hikes later, I have to admit that if this circumstance exists, I have not found it. Worn in conditions from melting snow, to leaf-covered inclines, to mossy shallow streams beds, traction has always been impeccable, and the boot remains comfortable even after hours of wear. One thing I would say though, is be sure to break it in thoroughly before wearing for real. It seemed to shape to my foot a little slower than normal, but I’m guessing that’s just because of the durability of the materials used.
