Morgan Mason hails from a cattle farm near the town of Wakefield, KS. Shortly after graduating from high school, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving in the Army Reserves. Upon returning from his tour, Morgan made the move to Colorado.
The first summer in CO was spent raft guiding where his love for whitewater began. The transition to kayaking Colorado's classic Class IV-V runs, whitewater SUP and surfing static river waves, he found his calling. Morgan has since helped in the pioneering of Stand Up Paddle Boarding to the Rocky Mountain Region while working for Boardworks SUP. When he isn't going down river you can find him surfing the breaks of California and Mexico, flowing through bike trails in Moab, quietly casting a fly line looking for trout or planning his next SUP Expedition.
Currently Morgan is one of the top whitewater SUP instructors, leads whitewater SUP camps for the youth and is a Fire Fighter/EMT.
