Jon Cardwell is a professional climber, climbing coach and route setter who resides in Boulder, Colorado. He has extensively traveled around the world to pursue adventure and climbing challenges. A huge part of his motivation in to travel to new places and explore their potential for new climbing. He has spent time developing new areas in South America, North America, Turkey, Europe and China.
With his knowledge of climbing over the past 15 years, which includes international podiums, national titles, multiple 9a ascents including over 100 other 8b+ and harder ascents, the 3rd ascent of "The Game" 8C along with dozens of problems 8B and harder, he has reserved a portion of time while at home to teach climbing and coach a youth team at his local climbing gym. Jon is one of the very few Americans to ever climb a 9a sport climb and 8C boulder problem.
