Rated 5 out of 5 by jbam from best hightop in the game This is the show moutainbikers have been looking for! Unlike the previous review which gives it 2 stars and focuses on water, these shoes arent advertised as waterproof but i ran through a few creek beds and my socks stayed dry, at the end of the day the are a shoe and i have had every form of waterproof shoe and the giant hole your foot slides into can let water in pretty easy. No reason to put down the shoe due to water. This show is great love the 510 stealth rubber used, I have the freerider contacts and the rubber on the adidas is way thicker I also like the tread design over the 510 dot tread pattern. On and off the bike the tread is better in my opinion. I also like the slim-ness of the hightop, so comfy like a small ankle wrap rather than a bulky skate shoe high top. The small patch of d30 is great especially because I rub my crank arms. This is a great shoe I will be ordering a second pair if they have size 12s again. Got 2 of my coworkers to buy them as well, we all love them .

Rated 4 out of 5 by T Fish from Awesome hightop I got this shoe for mountain biking but it has turned into an every adventure shoe for me. The stealth rubber and stuff sole make it an awesome approach/scrambling shoe. Also since it has a thick sole and high top I use it hiking around in light snow conditions. For mountain biking it’s awesome too. The only things I’d like to see different would be a thicker toe cap incase you bash your toe into a rock biking and also a little bit more ankle support.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NYguy from If you run into wet weather, it's soaked in 5 min Good shoes for dry days, if it start to rain, your feet will be wet. The tongue is not connected to the sides, water leaks into inside. The movement of your foot creates suction to guide water further in. I think for an outdoor shoe, water resistant or water proof would be important.
