Rated 4 out of 5 by olddog52 from Excellent Alpine Footwear A bit stiff when first used, but were broken in within 5 days. I have used these for approaches in the Tetons, Rocky Mountain National Peak, Wind Rivers, Sangres and South San Juans. Even with an overnight pack these shoes provided adequate support and comfort where lighter weight approach shoes would be falling apart after a trip or two. Uppers and soles show very little wear and zero delamination around the rands. Added bonus is that they fit my funky, narrow feet quite well. I am extremely particular about my mountain footwear and have been very impressed with these shoes. Considering purchasing the high top version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AverageDiscman from Disc golfers best friend! The Scopes are my 5th pair of shoes I've purchased solely for disc golf and they might be the best yet. I've only played a few rounds so far however my early impressions are great. The grip these shoes have on concrete pads regardless of weather condition are second to none. In fact it's almost hard to get myself to rely on the shoes to grip on a wet tee because I've slipped so much in other shoes. The goretex is great for early morning due. Dry feet equals a happy golfer. I think these shoes have just converted me to an Adidas fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PeterK from Too early to tell These Terrex Scope hikers are a replacement for the Terrex Xking. The Xking is a great shoe but the shoe strings failed after approx. 100 miles of (day) hiking. I feel like the Xking are actually a better hiking shoes, but for the shoe strings will not hold up. The Scope seems like a fine shoe, but I have only worn them casually around town, and I have not had it on the trail. I will be hiking at Cumberland Lake this weekend and can report back with results for Scope! One note: The Scope is a narrow shoe and required a 1/2-size upgrade to normal size (i.e., the Xking)... thus why I had to return to Agron for replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1Guide from Durable Approach Shoe Climbs reasonably well, performance will vary with how tight you fit them. I didn't find the rubber as sticky as a "tennies" though the depth of the tread may be a factor in this. Though the sole says stealth rubber, it didn't feel as soft as "dot" rubber. Comfortable. Feet stay dry on approach. The trade off is they're a little too warm/ heavy for the warmest days. It's a lot of shoe to for carrying on route-- better for all day hike/and keeping them on to climb. Not as percise as a Ganda, but what is?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jerry Ambidextrous Davis from Been looking for this shoe for years! 20 year quest for the perfect disc golf shoe. I've come close a few times, but, invariably, the shoe would be re-designed or be taken off of the market. Initially, I was worried about the weight of the shoes, but I've been testing the shoes on all different surfaces and conditions. The extra weight of the shoe only took me about an hour to get used to. The Gore-Tex is top notch and the very sticky Continental rubber actually has just enough give to allow me to rotate my feet and hips through my throws. It's a sharp looking shoe, to boot(forgive the pun!). I expected a lot from this shoe and so far, it has delivered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Aaron from good enough but they can do better. Maybe it was my feet but I bought these shoes in preparation of a week long climbing trip. They are great shoes when it comes to the grip from the stealth rubber and a week in on and off rain (they stayed dry day in and day out). But the shoe feels stiff, it took over two weeks to really break them in to where they wouldn't hurt my feet with every step. But for the amount of money I just expected a little more from adidas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeremy Q from Great disc golf shoe. So far so good. I've been wearing them now for about two weeks and at first was quite hesitant because of how stiff they felt. However the break in was very fast! After only a few days off wearing them they felt comfortable and contured to my foot well. I was an exclusive Merrell fan but these have made me reconsider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by callen h from Everything I could ask of an approach shoe Got to replace my old guides and could not be happier. Super supportive. Honestly broke in within the first few days living in them. Great rubber for jamming and edging, and love them on slab. i sized a half-size down relative to my normal adidas trail runners and hikers and the fit is awesome. The gortex hasn't failed me yet and breathability is fine for me.
