Rated 5 out of 5 by fartlek2 from Great light hiking shoe. I bought these shoes in black, and I have thoroughly enjoyed them so far. They are on the short and narrow side and will likely not fit anybody with wide feet, but they have a typical Adidas fit, being medium-width in the front and narrow in the heel. The shoe is quite light and flexible and neither too soft, nor too firm. I really like the lacing system. This shoe works well as a light hiker or a trail-running shoe, although I only use them as hiking shoes. The superb quality is evident everywhere, from lacing system to seams and sole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mnt Man in Flatland from Favorite adidas Trail Runner to date I have been running and hiking in these all summer and I've been really impressed with the shoe. It is incredibly comfortable - very soft eva foam insole - and fits my foot really well. I don't experience any heel slip and no toe bang going down steep declines. The highlight of the shoe is the traction. It has worked well on wet roots and mud in Minnesota to dusty loose rock in Montana and Colorado. Seems to stick to about everything. The trailmaker isn't waterproof but after a VERY rainy day (I was in a 6 hour downpour in them), I was the impressed with how quickly they dried out. It was significantly faster than my friends' shoes. All of this to say, I really like these shoes and will continue to purchase them until there is a significan design change. Well Done Adidas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pdel from Comfortable ruggedness Love the way they feel and look. Not heavy like other outdoor shoes. Buy a half size bigger for perfect fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JasonEric from Grip & Rip! These have been great for the winter mountain running season here in Utah (dry dirt, dry rocks, wet rocks, mud, snow & ice). This is my second pair of this model and I've noticed that both have had about a 15 mile break-in period. These do have a narrow fit, so they hug the foot well and provide good stability. I gave a 4 star rating due to their moderate weight, these are not tanks by any means, but it would be nice to see these shave some ounces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by birlic from Excellent for scrambling hikes The grip is phenomenal. They are very comfortable. I recently hiked the Siphon Draw to Flat Iron in The Superstition Mountains in Arizona. The shoes were perfect for the rock scrambling part. They are comfortable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joey S from Great traction! Love the look and feel of the shoe. Easy lacing is key. Solid traction for the rocky/sandy trails of SoCal.
